Need help at the begining of the game.

Yea, I know I'm a tard. But I can't get out of jail at the start of the game. Am I even supposed to be there or what. Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure I will kick myself when I found out the answer 
NM, I found out what to do, and am currently kicking myself. 
If it's any consolation, I think it took me a while to 'get it' too.
I kind of need some help too....I've leveld up once and talked to the guy, but now what? :/
You need to put your levelup points on attack, and hit the wall.
