Fountain Bug?

Has anyone else had this problem? When I'm drinking from the fountain that turns me to ghost(?), the game always throws me out to Windows. I'm not sure is it my crappy computer or what but I couldn't do anything to it. I looked into source but I found nothing. Is this happening because I have Windows 2000? (Good thing that Carrie left one save file into game folder so I could finnish the game

Are you using the v1.08 beta or just 1.06/1.07?

It may be very much the problem. The new version 1.08 is still pretty buggy at the moment, so... Use 1.06 or 1.07 until there is an official 1.08 release!
I'm using Win2k and version 1.07 and I'm having the problem too.
Open fount1.c (with Word or Notepad) and delete '(ghosts can't push!)' after 'push_active(0);' .
If it still doesn't work, try adding this line :
freeze(1);
after the line '//change to duck' and add this line:
unfreeze(1);
after the line 'sp_base_idle(1, 20);'
This may or may not solve your problem.
