List thread chaos
Maybe it is just me, but I don't like all of the new 'list' threads. The "You've played Dink too much one" was fine, because I could easily ignore it, and some entries were actually kind of funny. But now there are like 7 of them.
I'm really, really tempted to just close all of these list threads and prohibit them in the future.
So I'm wondering if anyone else agrees with me. If it seems like a good share of the community likes them, I'll shut up and put up with it.

Its actually spamming making threads of the same type."You have played dink too much when is fine".
The only serious list thread was the "You've played Dink too much" one, the ones made by Chaotic and DinkKiller are rather pointless. The Dink one makes sense but the others don't, mainly because any random event could be turned into such thread. You could create some variations on the Dink one (like "You've created too many D-Mods when..") but anything else is kinda boring. And it's not like I'm waiting for this variation that I just mentioned to be created either
I click on the threads if they are marked *new*, realise what I'm looking at, and quickly press backspace.
EX-TER-MI-NATE! EX-TER-MI-NATE!
No, seriously, the initial one is enough. More than enough.

Alrighty, I closed them. If anyone has any convincing objections, Tal or myself can always re-open them.
"You've had one too many knocks on the head when..."
1) You start creating topics like DinkKiller and Chaotic do.
Yes. Wipe them all.

Alright, we'll stop.
I've been chaotic enough for today.
EDIT: Well, DinkKiller started doing it and I decided to join in the fun, but I still did it. --DELETED--

Eh, don't worry about it. I am annoyed by many things, and I'm sure that everybody's annoyed with me about something.
The only difference is I have control

Posting a lot is a generally good thing, if you put some effort into what you post.
Spamming is posting a *lot* of 'bad' messages: (things that don't make sense, difficult to understand, 'me too' comments, poor grammar, insults, etc).
I understand that a good share of posters have English as a second language, or were dropped on their heads as children, so 'bad' posts in low quantity is accepted and understandable. But if you post 5 messages in every single thread, and you don't seem to be even trying to improve... that's spamming. Or at least, that's what I think of it as.
I'm not sure what everyone else thinks, but I don't consider you a spammer.

Redink1 you can be annoyed? How? I never annoyed you!
I suggest making a trash board for throwing in old/trash posts.

That would be pointless. Just turn on view deleted posts and you can read them all you want.
some of those threads are very annoying and i think a few of them were mine
kill then kill them all
kill then kill them all
Well THAT was pointless.
Spamming in this anti-spamming thread! Woo!

Eh, it wasn't *that* pointless.
On another note, the best defense against a suspected spammer is to not respond. If things get out of hand, a moderator can delete a message or close a thread.
