Does anyone have any hints on how to find this? Could it be because I am using Ultimate Cheat that the Whirlpool is not showing up?

the ultimate cheat probably can't help you too much with pq since there are extra stats. but, check out this post.

Ah, i remember that when i played pilgrims quest my luck was about thirty-something. I kept getting luck potions from the squid I slayed, and they kept causing me to get luck potions more often, and it continued and continued as i leveled up at in my ship gaining luck from potions and honor each time i leveled up. I did the side quests, but i had been in the brothel too many times, so i had to rebuild my reputation.

Ah, that was a great game.

Oh, a quick question: If you piss off the ice queen and attack her you get sent to the jail in the dungeon. You stay there and rot for years unil the guy (the one disguised as a priest in SOB game who was a minion of that demon) conquers the world. What happens when you leave jail and all the frog bots are everywhere? Can you do anything? I never foundout because my character wasn't strong enough to face the frogbots at that point in the game, so i enevitably reloaded from a previous game.

though filled with bugs, i liked dinky dimensions:fiat a lot. supposedly redink is in the process of remaking it (he's in the process of doing a lot of things, it seems), but this is a must-download

I wasn't able to do anything after that. And I vaguely remember Simon saying you couldn't get out too.

but there wa still a bit of dungeon to explore after i died, that would have made a cool fork if it became a nonlinier game. You could skip the trying to save that girl, find out what happen to the world, but explore it a little differently, the search the world after defeating the boss for her Only to find out their was no girl because it was a trap.
