Ya, but those adds pay for the space needed to host the files. Redink had a different host once upon a time, they were worse.
1) Telefragged/3ddownloads, at the time that we left, had serious issues with user limits. It only allowed 150 active connections for its two servers. While this isn't bad (I think FilePlanet has similar limits), this was for ALL of telefragged, and it did not have a line system in place. So you would keep on trying forever, especially when one of the servers regularly went down.
2) Use imgoingbed. The link is right under the FilePlanet link, and it is nearly dedicated for Dink files. It is probably a bit slower than FilePlanet, but no lines, no registration, direct links to files, etc.

imgoingbed is awesome! That's exactly what I do. Click on the link; it starts; I go to bed.
No muss, no fuss. I wish I could use that for everything.

I avoid using fileplanet as much as I can, but imgoingbed doesn't always work...
sometimes it helps to change the caps in the filename when imgoingtobed doesn't work...
There are caps in filenames? There shouldn't be... dang other staff members.
