The D-Mod dabbler Endy released a new D-Mod titled The Woods. I think this is probably the first D-Mod based on a french play (at least I can't think of any others). It's experimental horror, and is suitably... freaky.

Hey! I didn't see this one coming. It's nice to see new DMODs released, even when they're not on the upcoming DMODs list. Definitely going to play this one.

A horror dmod? Duck me with a duck! Boo-yeah! Gonna play this tonight, in a dark cabin in the middle of the woods. Naked.

Yeah, I really wasn't sure how this would go over. I had been reading a ton of game creepypastas and SCP tales. I ended up wanting to make my own creepy game.

Trying to avoid talking about what I'm working on so that I actually finish.

Just to note, there are three "Endings" where the game shuts down. For the Final Ending the curtain falls hard and guaranteed you won't be continuing past that point.

Playing naked results in an annoying random wait loop script starting.

This, is a great example of the horror mod, in fact, i can't even play it anymore, once i've completed it.

Very true.

Unless you delete your unlucky saved game... Just don't look at any of the s0- scripts while you are digging around in there. Bad things will happen.
