i have noticed in several places that have a locked screen that once you kill all the monsters the screen doesn't unlock. sometimes i simply need to close the game and reopen it. other times that doesn't make any difference.

the two places that have done this (never unlocking)is in the caves behind the woman's house where you get the light sword. the room with all the slimes and the golden heart. never got to keep the heart because of the lock-up.

so i moved on. now i am at the end of the world and there is a screen with two mercury monsters (don't know what they are called) and i think a slayer. there is a path that continues up, and i think it has something important but the screen always locks up. (i'm thinking i get info on how to move the funny looking rocks)

if anyone has any suggestion on how to deal with this or fix it, please let me know. i won't be able to finish the game otherwise.

It's probably just your computer, but I suggest downloading Ultimate Cheat or any cheat device to unlock the screens when necessary.

or you can make your own unlocking key device easily

screenlock(0)
}

set that to a key and when u press the key it will unlock
