Regarding: SOPA
Okay, I recently watched This video and think it's a bit more important than Pred's current fate on this website.
Watch it, discuss. Whatever floats your boat. This will kinda blow your mind.

There's a like bot on the video. I don't feel like watching the video. Why don't you fill me in on this act? It sounds familiar.
EDIT: Oh, it's the Protect IP Act. I already posted this.
KrisKnox, you even posted in it. XD

Yeah, but the video goes into detail why SOPA shouldn't even be an idea in the first place.
Here, this pretty much has the same thing, it's also where I found the video. Except a few details such as the software that is used for 'piracy' being released a decade or so ago come from companies that support SOPA now.

@ Absolution
Actually, no. The Protect IP Act is only the cover up bill for SOPA (it sounds slightly better to the congress than the original SOPA bill). SOPA is the real deal.
Also, to be honest, that guy's face in the video being so happy was disturbing. He does make a good point about how corporations themselves have contributed to piracy. Here is a better video, which focuses on site take down, senators not knowing what they're doing, how piracy is not the reason corporations want this bill passed, and how corporations want control.

Wait, no. I need to research more. It's a combination of both SOPA and Protect IP Act.
You're not a very good reader are you?
Two videos were suggested here, and you obviously haven't seen either. The one I suggested will explain what SOPA is. And if you don't want to watch that, you'll have to research and read several articles. Sounds like a lot of work, eh?

Yes. That's why I won't do it.

TotalBiscuit explains it all very well. LeopoldDon posted the WTF is SOPA link.
Thanks for the video link, LeopoldDon.
@Abs: If SOPA were passed, we wouldn't be able to post links on this forum. The whole of the DN would be blocked due to 'copyright infringement'.

I do know that. I also know, if it were passed, there would be a revolution. Regardless of the passing, I think we will have a revolution anyways.
