i used be BIG smallwood fan until about 2007 and heres why here are some reasons

1.GLITHES now i was playing quest for dorithia 1 i needed to get into the castle you need a scroll that turns you ito a knight i used it the game crash and exited the game i try it agian and it did the same thing.another glith was dead dink smallwood body in the darklands you press space bar and the froze and you coul'dt move so you would haave to start again
2. EXCESSICE AMOUT OF BAD D-MODS dmods like goblin castle glenns first dmod eventualy put and bad taste in my mouth i was struggling to find
a good d-mods good ones like cloud castle 2 pilgrims quest propercy of the ancients were not new ones and eventually i got burnt on bad d-mods and eventually i gave it up and stop playing
3. ALWAYS STARTING OUT WITH LIKE 1 OR 2 STERENTH
not as much to say with this one people need to make d-mod start with someting maybe 10 stregnth
5 defence and 3 magic instead
4.STUFF THAT SHOUDNT HAPPEN

I understand (and thanks MsDink). Of course, most of the problems you are finding come about from having open development options. Ironically, this is one of the things that has given DS its' longevity. I personally overlook these things, since most mods are developed by amateur game designers and for many, this may be there first foray into game creation.

I can partly understand your frustrations, because I also tend to hate beginning with low hp, strength, def and magic and have to kill a bunch of bugs to raise those stats. A thing to remember here though, all D-Mods are made by fans. You shouldn't expect a quality like they've been developed for years like a real games. We don't get paid, this is just a hobby.

I can't believe you're still around after you've declared you HATE this game. Maybe you don't hate it after all? I don't see the reasons of this behavior.
