I will post this into Dink Solutions a little later. First though, I would like people to give their thoughts about this walkthrough.

THIS WALKTHROUGH IS FOR VERSION SILVER 3.00. OR LATER!! YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION FOR MINIMUM BUGS!!

First of all, there are lots of things to do in Historical Hero. Most of the things you do in this D-Mod increase how many percent you have completed. To check how many percent you have gone through, you can check the News Posters, which are in every town and in some dungeons.

VILLAGE OF MOPHE & THE WEST PLAINS
----------------------------------

After you have watched the intro, get out of your house. You can explore the first village (Mophe) but not leave this area yet. Check out all the houses, feel free to read books and examine/hit furniture for some lame jokes. First, go to the small house with a woman and three girls. The girls say random stuff and aren't really interesting, so talk to the woman (Marilyn). Use all the options. Along the dialog she talks about a Grave Digger, who you'll proceed to most likely meet later in the game (if you have Version Silver 2.00 or later). Marilyn also talks about the house being too small. Well, there is nothing we can do about that for now, so get out of her house and go a few screens east, until you arrive to a lonely woman's house.
When you talk to this woman she immediately asks you to start dating with her (boy, don't you wish it was really that easy?), agree to start dating with her, and she becomes your girlfriend. Now, there is not an actual way for her to dump you, but you will get married and increase 1 percent if you bring her enough gifts. But we'll just leave her being for now.
Go a couple of screens up from the lonely lady's house and there's a house with a random guy. He's there just for fun, so he really isn't that interesting of a guy.
Down and left from this guy lives two old people, with girls upstairs. Talk to the girl who is standing in the corner all by herself. Agree to help her. If you don't, there is no way of helping her again and you will not get 1 percent.
A screen left of the old guys' house lives the mayor of Mophe. Talk to him and you will find out that he is trying to sell his house. You can say you wanna buy it, but it costs 250 gold, which is too much for us, so we'll come back later.
A screen down from the mayor's house is a guy who has lots of books. Talk to him about everything and he'll ask you to find a missing page for him.
Now let's go to the one more house in Mophe. There's a blue knight, named Neal in there. Once you talk to him, a cutscene follows. After the cutscene, talk to Neal. You can ask his name or ask about the rock. He suspects that the rock has been created by some wizards, so he opens the gate of the Maze for you.

The Maze is east of the town, with two entrances, one near the town and one if you follow the bottom path. There are also Pillbugs in here, so it might be a good idea to save before you go in the Maze. The Pillbugs are fairly strong, but feel free to kill them. Go a couple of screens up from the bottom entrance and you should find a staircase behind a bush, there are some goodies and the page of the book the nerd guy was looking for. One screen up from the bottom entrance there is a gap in the cliff, behind a tree. Go through it and it leads you to a staircase. This cave is full of stronger Pillbugs that might take a little more effort to kill. There's another staircase behind a rock in the second screen from the entrance of the cave. Here you'll find The Three Wizards. Watch the cutscene and they proceed to give you The MageFist. Now if you examine/talk to every rock in the game, some of them are "fairly weak", which means you can destroy them. They give you either different amounts of gold or vases, which can be used as gifts for your girlfriend. The MageFist Rocks (weak ones) all increase one percent when destroyed.

Now that you have the MageFist, you can destroy the rock that is blocking the road to Mophe. Before that, let's go do a few things first. First off, give the nerd guy his page, and you'll gain 50 EXP. Now go to the mayor and buy the house from him (you should have enough gold if you found the secret in the Maze). When you re-enter the house a save machine has appeared. Now go talk to Marilyn and sell him your house (for free).

Save your game. You should have completed 17% now if you have followed the order of this walkthrough PLUS GOT ALL THE HONORGEMS AND DESTROYED ALL MAGEFIST ROCKS IN THIS AREA. Now it's time to move to the West Plains. This might be a good time to inform, there's a list of where to find all the MageFist Rocks and Honorgems at the bottom of this walkthrough.

Kill some Boncas around here to earn EXP and gold. This is something I would suggest doing very much in this game. It pays back in the end of the game. Go as north-east as you can and you'll find a stone with "Dink Smallwood" written on it. Examine the stone and wait for a few seconds without doing anything. The stone will say something to you. Then proceed to hit the rock and it will disappear. This increases 1 percent. Kill some more Boncas, don't bother fighting the gray Boncas yet, or if you happen to run into a glowing Bonca, don't fight it either. Work your way in between cliffs which lead you to the second town, Wuyene.

TOWN OF WUYENE
--------------

First off, you'll wanna buy the only house for sell in this town. It's the house with a sign that says "House for sale". Examine the door to get an option of buying it. If you killed enough Boncas in the Plains, you should have more than 390 gold, which you need to have to buy the house. Re-enter the screen and the house is yours. A save machine is upstairs, and a bookshelf, which you will be able to read after you buy some books later on. Buying houses increase the percent by 1.

Go to the wrecked house, upstairs and enter the fireplace. There are a few goodies and a fireball spell.
If you follow the path from the mayor's house ALL the way to right, you will come to a dead end, but when you burn the tree in this screen, it reveals a secret. Smash all the barrels (that possible) and get the gold and Herb Boots.

Talk to the few guys around to earn some hints. The old guy in the small house sells a Long Sword, which I really suggest you to buy. The north-west house's door is locked and you can't enter there yet.
Examine the broken bridge and then go inside the mayor's house. A cutscene occurs and puts you back to the screen with the fountain. Go back into the mayor's house and talk to him. Ask about the broken bridge and he says it will be fixed soon. Then ask what were they talking about and he explains there are some water problems. Offer your help to him and he says you need to prove you're really as good as you say, so he asks you to go help people with their problems.
Go talk to the old guy who sells Long Swords and ask if he needs help with anything. He asks you to take care of some bandits.

Save your game and enter the house that was locked earlier. Read the sign, The Disturbed Rats, eh? Ok, go downstairs, smash everything open, get the gold and read the page on the floor. Remember what it says, you'll need this information later. Go to the other room and meet who are about to be your arch enemy for the rest of the game, The Disturbed Rats. After the cutscene, you need to fight the first boss of the game; Alex. He is very easy. If you have a sword and fireball, you shouldn't have any problems. Without them, you may die once but that would be only inexperience. Grab the Strength Potion, during or after the battle. Now leave the place and go to the old guy (if you go back where the bandits were, the fire has stopped burning. A nice little effect). Tell him you have dealed with the bandits and he tells the mayor about your success. He also gives you a map. Offer your help to the mayor and this time he agrees to your help and tells you to get underground somehow. Save your game. Now remember, what did the page in the bandits' hideout say? It said that the water tunnels in all the towns were connected. So if there isn't a good well in Wuyene, let's try the well in Mophe. Go to Mophe, and enter the well.
If you explore the tunnels, you will find a Dink doppelganger. Examine him and Dink says there's gotta be a bomb laying around. Go down from where you started and there's a bomb behind a rock. The Slimes can be pretty annoying and harsh on you (well, what did you expect? They are SLIMES, after all). Now, go the other way until you come to a dead end, place the bomb carefully beside the rock and try to move a little bit, so you don't get blown up by the bomb, but also not leave the screen. If you leave the screen, the bomb will disappear and you have to load and do all the stuff in the wells again. Once the rock has blown up, enter the stairs and watch the cutscene. Kill the two Goblins, they are fairly easy and you shouldn't have too much problems fighting them.
There is no way to get back up the stairs you arrived from. You can re-enter the tunnel if you need to, keep this in mind. Once you are done with them, get the bomb from the other screen, examine the rocks and when Dink says something about the rocks, place the bomb there. Grab the golden heart and leave the tunnels. You appear back in Wuyene.

Talk to Mayor Paul again and tell him you solved their water problems. He tells you the bridge has been repaired. You can brag about how you saved their town. You can also drink from the fountain and heal yourself, now that the water is back. Collect all the MageFist Rocks and Honorgems from this area, there's a list in the bottom of the walkthrough if you can't find where they are. After this, you should have 34% completed and you are ready to move to the next town.

TOWN OF ORSAN
-------------

Orsan is the biggest area by far in the game. Take your time exploring and checking out places and introducing yourself to the new area. The map helps a lot in this.

First off, buy the two houses (you can get gold by killing some Boncas in the West Plains and east of Orsan). Then head east, follow the road until a cutscene follows. Then go back to the town. There's the only BookStore of the game in Orsan. Buy the books when you get enough money and they will appear in your houses. Every book increases 1 percent.
I'm not going to say whether you should buy the Clawsword or not. If you feel you are fine with the Long Sword, then you may wanna save your money, but if you feel you aren't doing very good, I'd say buy the Clawsword. I can tell you, that I (the creator of this D-Mod) have usually bought it.

Check the pub out for fun, if you feel like it.

Let's do some side-qests before we get into the actual storyline of Orsan. Talk to the old lady who lives outside of the pub. She asks you to bring her the acid rain spell. We'll get one a little later, for now let's talk to some more guys. Talk to the drunken guy south-west of Orsan. He asks you to get a beer for him. So, go to the pub and ask for a beer and bring it to him. Very simple.
Talk to the lady in blue dress who lives east of the drunken guy. She asks you to go get a book from Mophe. We'll do that a little later as well. In the big house east of the lady's house are some goodies.
Go to the house that's just north of Mayor Jack's house, and talk to the boy inside. He asks you to go talk to Mayor Jack about him moving to Wuyene. So, go talk to Jack and ask about Pete. Then go back to Pete and tell him Jack's answer. There's one more guy to east of Mayor Jack's house, but we'll talk to him a little bit later. Although there is food on his yard that you can eat if you need healing. You may have also tried to enter Mayor Jack's office. There's no way to enter there yet.

Alright, let's go talk to Mayor Jack. Tell him about the avalanche, then ask if there is anything you could help him with. He asks you to look for his small house toy. You can talk to some people in Orsan to gain a few hints of where the house could be, but just go to Wuyene and there should be a house toy one screen above Mayor Paul's house. Pick it up by pressing spacebar and then continue to Mophe. Talk to the researcher with lots of books and ask him to return the book of the lady in Orsan. Get back to Orsan and give the lady in the blue dress her book.

Go give the toy to Jack and he asks you to do another task for him, to collect an important piece of paper that he forgot to his office. The office is just next to the bar, but you might want to save your game before you go there. Examine the door and tell the woman that you're looking for Mayor Jack's missing paper. She lets you in and after the cutscene go upstairs. Follow the hallway. Oh no! What has happened here!? Examine the woman's body, if you want to. Go up a screen and watch the cutscene. Time for the second boss of the game; a Bonca. This Bonca is really easy. You will have no trouble beating it, and if you somehow have, buy a Clawsword and level up a little bit.
After you beat the Bonca go right a screen, follow Bebso to the tunnel and then just follow the screens until you arrive to a staircase. Go up the stairs and watch the cutscene. After this, you are automaticly put back outside the office. There is no way to enter the office, after this.

Go tell Mayor Jack what has happened. He tells you to immediately go and try to find the paper. Once again, you can ask people around Orsan for help, if you need some. Before we go do this quest however, follow the road until you arrive to a tree surrounded by a circle of rocks. Use fireball on this tree and go down the stairs it reveals. There's some goodies and the acid rain spell. Follow the road up until you come to the mountain, then follow the cliffs west, until you see the Grave Digger (remember when Marilyn talked about him?). Talk to him, then talk to him again. He seems to repeat the same stuff from now on, but if you talk to him enough times, he will give you a few powerups. Now, go to the grumpy farmer guy who lives east of Mayor Jack. Ask if there is anything you need to do for him and he tells you there is a Bonca he wants you to kill.
So leave his house, go back to the mountains and follow it left until you come to a screen with three burnable trees. Burn one of them and it reveals a secret with lots of goodies. You should definitely buy the Clawsword now that you have enough money. If you want to, buy the Bow too. For the next side-quest, definitely buy some Elixirs and SAVE!! This quest has an optional boss in it, and that boss is strong. If you want to, you can always come back later to do this quest, but if you want to follow this walkthrough, you can do it now.
Go to the screen where you burned the tree near the cliffs (with LOTS of secrets in it). Then go two screens east and one screen down. There's a staircase in here behind the tree. Go down the stairs and follow the cave. You'll arrive to the thieving Bonca. Kill it. The thieving Bonca is very hard, with quite a lot of Strength, very high Defense. It hasn't got too much HP, but with the high Defense it can take quite some time to kill it. Acid rain may help you, if you haven't given it back to Hewen yet. Best tactic is to spawn attack with Clawsword and move to the other side when he gets too close. Or if you don't like close combat, you can always move from bottom of the screen to top, and use your Bow and hope to get Critical Shots, and meanwhile see if acid rain or fireball do any good. Also, the best attack towards an enemy like this is to have a high defense yourself, so that will definitely help you. After you have killed the Bonca, go back to the farmer and tell him you killed the Bonca.

Ok, now go give the acid rain spell to Hewen. Then follow the river until you arrive to a cabin, go inside and you'll meet the third boss; John. John is quite easy. He can only hurt you with his touch damage but he is quite fast, so you may want to use your Herb Boots if you feel like the area is too small. Then again, if you feel like you aren't doing enough damage with Herb Boots, I'd say use your Clawsword. In any case, fireball will be a good friend in this battle (like in most ).

Once you have killed John, follow the road until you come to the Mountain Passage (where the avalanche happened). Watch the cutscene. Oh no! Mayor Jack died! Noooo! Anyway, if you now talk to the people in Orsan, most of them will comment something about Jack. Now all that is left in Orsan is to collect all the Honorgems and MageFist Rocks (if you don't already know, there's a list where to find them all in the bottom of this walkthrough, if you have trouble finding them). Also, if you haven't done it before already, now is a good time to buy some books from Orsan's BookStore and learn some things by reading them in your houses. If you have done all this, you should have completed 64% by now.

Go to the Mountain Passage and we're off to the next area!!

THE MOUNTAIN PASSAGE & VILLAGE OF RUHDY
---------------------------------------

Ok, once you enter the Mountain Passage, there are some tough Slayers around. I would suggest to be AT LEAST on level 5 and having done everything this walkthrough has told, before fighting them. They are quite fast and do lots of damage, so best way to avoid that damage would probably be using Herb Boots and fireball. If you want a faster solution, just bash them up with your Herb Boots on. Using swords is a bad idea considering that you hit very slowly, they'll do a lot of damage and then you are not fast enough to run away. Slayer hunting rewards you though, with lots of gold and EXP.

East of the Mountain Passage, there is a mine, but you can't enter it yet, so go to Ruhdy.

Go one screen south from the entrance and enter the house. Samantha there is a nurse and will heal you if you're hurt, and the best part is, she does all this FOR FREE!! The guy in the house in the same screen rewards you with 250 gold if you kill a guy on the cliffs, you'll also get 1 percent if you complete this task. We'll do that a little bit later.
Enter the house three screens east of Samantha's and this guy's house and talk to the small girl in there. Choose whatever option you like and it will increase 1 percent, but you'll get a little EXP if you don't bring her alcohol.
Go to the big house east of Ruhdy's entrance and upstairs is a dying old man. Talk to him and he tells you his final wish, gives you a letter and tells you to take it to his brother who lives in Parnax. Now would be a good time to buy the three houses that are in sale in Ruhdy. If you don't have enough money, kill some Slayers, or just buy the cheapest house and I'll tell you how to get some secrets, soon. Talk to the green suited guy in the small house next to the drunken girl's, and he asks you to bring him a pumpkin. Well, I wonder? Hmmm... who could have any pumpkins? Oh well, we'll not worry about that for now.

Go one screen west of Ruhdy's entrance and there is a hole behind the tree. Enter it, there is some gold behind some of the poles in the up-left corner. Go the stairs up and get the potion, looks familiar doesn't it? Get back to Ruhdy. The upper tree few screens south of the hole reveals a secret when burned, with some gold in there. Go four screens right and burn the tree there and it reveals another secret. Get the gold and hearts in there, but watch out for the Slimes and the thorns.

Go south of Ruhdy and talk to the knight guarding the gate to the Military Area of Parnax. He won't let you through, but he wants you to bring him a diamond and he may think of it. Well, we need to get a permission to the mines of Ruhdy apparently. Go talk to Neyla, the Mayor of Ruhdy, about the guard. She gives you the permission to go to the mines. You can now ask about the knights some more if you want to.

Go out of Ruhdy and to the screen with the mine, before you enter though, go one screen up and you'll meet the shouting guy who one of the villagers was talking about. Choose to offer him a pizza and he'll leave and also give you some EXP. Now, if you choose different options it will cause him to die, not giving you the EXP, but you will get 1 percent more when you talk to the villager, no matter what.
Go to the mines and examine the gate. Tell them you have a permission, and he will let you in. You can talk to the worker if you want to. Now make your way to the up-left corner of the mines and two Goblins will appear. You need to fight the other one, who is the 4th boss. He is quite tough with a high Defense but not that much of HP. He doesn't have that much of Strength but he can surprise you if you don't pay attention. Herb Boots or Clawsword are a good option in this one. Fireball is a good option if you hate close combat but it will take a long time to kill him. Once you have killed him, follow the other one. You can talk to the worker if you want to for some comments, but get out of the mine and go back to Ruhdy.

Talk to the guy who lives near Samantha and tell him you dealed with the guy on the cliffs. This increases 1%. Now go back to Orsan and go talk to the grumpy farmer. Ask for a pumpkin and he gives you one. Take this pumpkin back to Jonathan in Ruhdy and it will increase 1%.

If you feel like you need Elixirs, go buy them now cause after you talk to Neyla, you can't get back to Orsan before you complete the next quest. Go talk to Neyla and tell her that the diamond was stolen. She tells you her plan. Now go to the Mountain Passage and watch the cutscene with the knights. Then fight the 5th boss; The Guard. He is pretty much the same as the Goblin, but he has a little better defense and stronger attack. There really isn't that much room to move around so Bow may cost you health. Fireball won't do much damage to the guy. Use Herb Boots or Clawsword. Thankfully, the knight has very little HP.
Go back to Neyla and tell her you got the armor. Then go to the guard who's guarding Parnax and fool him. Now, get all the Honorgems and MageFist Rocks in this area and move on to Parnax. Once again, if you have trouble finding the Honorgems or MageFist Rocks, there's a list at the bottom of this walkthrough. If you have done everything like this walkthrough explains, you should have completed 74% now.

MILITARY AREA OF PARNAX
-----------------------

Alright, we are nearing the end of the game. This is the final area before Castle of Glamour. Parnax pretty much consists of knights. You can fight the knight who lives in the most north-west house, but he's pretty tough. He's also quite useless, so just leave him be. Another useless knight lives south of him.
East of this guy lives another knight. Remember the old man who died in Ruhdy? Well, this guy is his brother. Go give him the letter and you gain 1 percent and some EXP. Push the bookshelf to left and go through the crashed wall. Grab the golden hearts and examine the scroll. You found the Ice Bow!!
North of this house is the knight-training bulding, but you don't have the password yet so you can't enter. East from the building is another locked house and another screen east there is a hotel for sale. This is the most expensive "home" to buy in this game. If you want to, buy it, but if you want to save money for the Throwing Axe, which is a very good weapon, don't buy it. South from here is an empty house with just five tables. Punch them in the correct order that is: *Downstairs, first the left one, then the top one. Upstairs, the bottom-right one, the bottom-left one and then the last left.* You'll get a golden heart.
East and a few screens north from the empty house lives the knight who sells Throwing Axes. The Throwing Axe costs pretty much, but you should definitely buy it or the rest of the game will be pretty hard. If you don't have enough money just walk around the map and collect gold. You'll get 5.500 pretty fast.
South-east of there is the place where the soldiers sleep in. You can talk to the guys but they don't say anything too useful. You can kill the owner of the place if you want to. South-east there lives another uninteresting character.
North of this guy, however, read the sign and then go back to the small house that was locked earlier. You can now enter, do so and watch the cutscene. Go to the knight-training and tell that you have come for knight-training. They won't let you in, so go back to Jamie (or Zhed, which is his cover-name) and he tells you the password. You might want to save before you go back to the knight-training building. Tell them the password and they will let you in.

Once inside, go upstairs and then right, watch the cutscene. The Rats have a new theme song, good for them. Once you're ready for the training, try to go to the upper room. Another cutscene will follow and you are taken to the training room. The obstacles are quite simple. In the second room, there are two small gaps between the poles and you can get through them. Just take your time and you are going to make it. Especially if you have the Throwing Axe, the Slayers will be very easy and you'll save a lot of time. Talk to the machine in the end of the course for the time to stop, you'll be then put back into the class-room.
Go one screen left and watch the cutscene, it's boss-time number 6!! This time you're fighting the students, Jonathan, Phil and Oprah. They are really simple and even easier if you have the Throwing Axe. They have very little HP, they don't have that much of Strength. Jonathan is the toughest one of them with the highest Defense but you will kill him easily with the Throwing Axe, and I would be extremely, supremely and beyond everything... SURPRISED if you lost to him even if you just used Herb Boots.
Once you have killed all of them, watch the cutscene. You now have proof that you passed the training. Leave the place and BatHat will appear, but won't fight you. Go back to Mayor Jamie/Zhed and he will now let you go to Castle of Glamour. Make sure you do everything you want around Derlicon (the overal map) before you enter the Castle. You can do almost everything later on, but if you want to do some things before you enter, do them now. If you have enough money, you may want to buy a whole hip of Vases and Elixirs. Give as many Vases to Sofia (your girlfriend in Mophe), as you can. You should then be able to choose an option of talking about stuff, and she will want to marry you, thus increasing one percent. If you don't have enough money, kill some monsters or you can always do it after Castle of Glamour, if you want to.

Back in Parnax, go through the east exit, which is possible to do now. Fight the strong Pillbugs and the Crazy Cannibal Granny (a mini boss you could say, I guess). Continue east until a cutscene occurs. Dink gets knocked out and is taken inside the Castle of Glamour as a prisoner.

CASTLE OF GLAMOUR
-----------------

You should have 77% done now. And we're nearing the end of the game. Castle of Glamour is a little bit different part of the game. There are certain things you need to do in there, to get 100%, and you need to do them while you are still in there, cause there is no way back. It is also the only "dungeon" in the game with the News Posters that tell you how many percent you have gotten through. Glamour also consists of different areas, which you need to go through in order to get through the whole Castle.

THE PRISONS:
Save your game. Examine the gates, then examine the wall under it. Check out the junk pile in the corner and then examine the wall again. Use the bomb to blow up the gate and vola, your out. Go two screens left while fighting the guards. You find a grey key inside one of the guard's pockets. Talk to the man in the cell. He's Arnold, The Wizard of Fire. He can sell you the Firebow, which is easily the strongest weapon in the game. Only problem is, he's locked right now, so we'll come back later. Go right and up and then go up the stairs. If you hit the cracked upper wall, it will break and you will get hellfire. Follow the path and kill the guards, there's a pile of gold behind a wall in the screen east of the stairs. The guard above the screen with the gold is a little bit faster, and gives you a red key when killed. You can't go through the magical barrier north of this screen yet, so use your grey key to open the cell in the same screen and talk to the prisoner. You just saved him, and increased 1%. Go one screen left and open the cell to the left with your red key. And there he is, you finally met him! Nathan Smallwood!! Dink's father! Yay! Now open the cell to the right and talk to Martridge. He tells you everything that's going on. Now the magical barrier should be opened and you can go through. If you need health, there is a big red heart in the screen to the right, but it also has three more knights.Follow the left path killing the knights but watch out for breaking one of the barrels, it loses you quite a much of health. Go to the left and hit around until you break a barrel with a golden heart in it. Follow the path and you will come to a staircase that will take you to the Mines.

THE GOBLIN MINES:
This is an optional area. However, if you don't come here now you will never get 100%. There are lots of chests and gold behind rocks here, so search and punch behind every rock. Follow the way and kill the Goblins along the way, until you come to stairs. Go down and kill all the Goblins and talk to all the slaves. Releasing one slave always increases 1 percent. I'm still reminding you to check behind every rock. The Goblins are quite tough and there are lots of them. Throwing Axe really helps here, and in all places basically. In the most north-west corner there is the Light Sword hidden in the grass, get it. Please note, the Light Sword was only added in later versions, so if you don't see it, make sure you have the newest version. Once you've made sure you've rescued all the slaves you can go back and leave the Mines.

THE LOUNGE:
Go back through the Prisons but this time go to the right. Fight the guards if there are any remaining. You should have completed 88% by now. Go upstairs and you are now at the Lounge. Kill all the guards and in the north-west corner, there is the kitchen. Take the bomb laying around and go all the way back into the Prisons and to Arnold, the fire wizard. Blow the cell up with the bomb and then talk to him, he sells you the Firebow now. The Firebow costs 11.000 gold, so I'm not surprised if you don't have enough money. Don't worry, we'll get some money later on. Go back through the Lounge and to the Weapon-Storage.

THE WEAPON-STORAGE:
The Weapon-Storage has been overtaken by monsters. There's a lot of different monsters here. If you want/need EXP and gold, kill the monsters. They are pretty deathly though, so keep your guards! There are two piles of gold around the Storage too, so check out all the screens. Make your way to north-east and in the screen with a Slayer, it looks like there's no way past the holes in the ground. There's a small gap which you can fit through, though. Search a little and you'll find it eventually. Then just follow the path while killing the monsters and make your way to the next floor.

THE GUARD HALLS:
When you first enter this floor, there's a guy who sells heal potions there. Buy them, if you feel like you need them. Kill the knights, and check out the wall that blocks the path to Area #0. Follow the path and go up (if you go left, there's only a blocked path there). Follow it until you come to a dead end with some letters. Read them, now go back to the wall blocking Area #0. It opens when you examine it now, then enter Area #0, follow the path and watch the cutscene. It's time for boss number 7; Bebso. Bebso is very easy. You will have no trouble fighting him. He is quite fast though, so Herb Boots really help. He also does quite a lot of damage if he hits you, so either use Herb Boots, as I said, or the Throwing Axe. You can kill him with other weapons quite easily too, but if you don't have a lot of Defense and a lot of HP, he can kill you pretty fast. Go back to the gate that blocked the left entrance of the Guard Halls earlier. It gets opened so you can enter the other side of this floor now.

PRISONS #2:
The Second Prisons is the other part of this floor. As you can see, all the people in here have been turned into stone cause of the machine Bebso activated. You can examine some people in there, and Dink will comment. Work your way up until you come to a cutscene. Here's an optional boss; Aunt Maria. She is pretty tough but gives a lot of EXP. Once you get the Flamebow, you probably want to kill her to get that EXP. If you don't have it, you most likely want to reconsider fighting her. Although, if you leave the screen now, you can never fight her again. The best tactic against her is long range weapons, Bows or Throwing Axe. If you hit her with close combat weapons, she may hit you too, and she does a lot of damage. Up a screen are more of Terris Inhabitants turned into stone. These are basically like Aunt Maria, only that there are 4 of them. Use the same tactic here, but be more careful as there are more of them. Get them to fight eachother if you feel like you aren't doing enough damage, be careful when doing this though, since they do have a high Strength as I said. You can come back to them if you want to get the EXP but can't kill them yet. They also respawn. Make your way through the Second Prisons and go through the stairs to the next floor.

GROUND FLOOR:
Okay, if you feel like you're doing bad, buy some healing potions from the guy in the Guard Halls, cause this floor has two bosses. Save your game here, then go left (if you want some EXP right now, there are some knights to the right). Follow the path, killing the knights, until you come to BatHat. After the cutscene, go to the above screen. BatHat is quite an interesting boss, he summons Negative Rainbow on you, so watch out. Push the barrels so you get to the switch on the upper-right part of the room. Then push the barrels so you get to the goodies. Then make your way to the left side and push the barrels, and hit around until some of the barrels break and you can get through. Kill the Slayers in the room above and then go to the right. Push the barrels and kill the Slimes, then either talk to BatHat before killing him, or just kill him straight away. Go to the switch in the room right of here and hit it. Now go back to the beginning of this floor and to the right this time. The gate here has opened and you can enter the Throne Room now. Enter there and you'll have to fight another boss; Captain Taka. He is simple, but can take quite some time to kill. Throwing Axe is definitely the best weapon here. Once you have killed him, watch the cutscene. Then if you want to, talk to King Daniel before killing him. Go to the right and into the next floor.

THE SQUARE OF ILLUSIONS AND LIES:
Alright, this is the final floor that you can actually return into the Castle from. Make sure you do everything you want in the Castle now, or there is no turning back. Save the slaves in the Mines, if you haven't. Buying the Flamebow won't increase 1 percent, but it will help you A LOT!! And I mean *A LOT*!!
The Square of Illusions and Lies is a really simple floor. All you need to do is not get confused by the stairs that lead you different places. First take the left stairs, then go back up the stairs you just came from, and they will lead you to the next level with no stairs to come back!!

TOWER OF DRAGONS:
Alright, we are at the last area of this game. Watch out for the dragon statues, they shoot hellfires randomly. Go two screens up and examine the gate. It reguires 4 gems. Take the north-west path and follow the cave. Now, here are 3 ways to go. Two of them will lead to more Slayers, one leads to a Dragon and a gem. Take the right path and kill the Dragon. Examine the gem to grab it. If you're brave (or more like crazy) enough to fight the Slayers in the other screens, feel free to. Now, out from this cave and then take the north-east one. In this cave, the Dragon and the gem are in the top screen. Once again, feel free to kill the other Slayers if you want to. Now go to the south-west cave. In this cave, there are two gems. One is in the top screen and one is to the left. Now, go out of this cave and go back to the gate. The south-east path is a bluff, with only a Dragon and dragon statues, but no gem. Go through the now-open gate and up the screen. You can't go back to save from this point on. There are two chests here, one behind the left wall, and another, more hidden one, behind the right one. Only take one heart for now, and go up a screen, through the dragon statues and watch the cutscene. You'll meet the final boss; SETH!! Seth is the toughest boss in the game. With insanely high defense, pretty much touch damage, lots of HP, plus he summons two kinds of spells. If you don't have Throwing Axe, nor Flamebow (I would be surprised if you got this far without them, I applaud you if you did so) use Herb Boots. Throwing Axe does more damage than Herb Boots, so if you don't have Flamebow, use it. Flamebow makes Seth really easy. Really, he is like a wuss if you use it. He takes about two or three hits to die with it. I actually killed Seth without using it for a little more challenge.

Once Seth is dead, go back down, take the other one of the big hearts, then go back up. Oh no! Seth appears again! This time even more deathly! Well, at least he hasn't got as high of Defense now. But this time, he gets faster for a few seconds everytime you hit him. He also casts Negative Rainbow this time. Use the same tactic as previously, HOWEVER, if you feel like he's too fast when you hit him with a Throwing Axe, you might want to try Herb Boots instead, but I would stay in Throwing Axe if you have one.
Hopefully you got at least a few more heal potions. Take one, then go one screen up. Seth appears again. This time, his spells are super-effective and will hit you most likely. Hit the switches on the walls in the order that you can, and Seth will die. If you start running out of HP, use a heal potion. If you don't have any, well... eh, try to be faster, although it will be quite hard. Once Seth is dead, go one screen up, examine the machine. Watch the ending and the credits, and you have finished the main storyline of Historical Hero! Congratulations!!

DERLICON
--------

After you have completed the main quest, you can go around Derlicon as you please. Most people say the same stuff as before, but Neal, for example, congratulates you. Go talk to Martridge when you have completed 100%. Don't cry now, if you didn't do everything I told you in Castle of Glamour, cause there is no way getting back in there. So, once you have done everything and gotten 100%, talk to Martridge and you'll get the special ending.

--------------

MOPHE:
1) From Dink's original house, go as north as you can and then one screen east.

2) Near a bush in the screen with Neal.

RUHDY:
15) East of Ruhdy's south entrance, behind a tree.

EASTER EGGS
-----------

There are also a lot of Easter Eggs plus other random/funny/weird stuff in Historical Hero. Here's a list of them.

MOPHE:
-There's a Bonca in the south-west corner, down a cliff. This Bonca is unbeatable however, if you try to kill it with long range weapons.

-After you beat the main storyline, go back to the Maze of Mophe and follow the path east from the entrance. Here you'll meet some DDC cultists.

THE WEST PLAINS:
-A Glowing (Ghost) Bonca appears randomly in some screens. This Bonca is very tough and you are a spectacular case if you kill it without the Flamebow.

WUYENE:
-After you have solved the water problems, you can heal yourself at the fountain.

-After you kill Alex, the fire in the Disturbed Rats' hideout will be gone.

ORSAN:
-There is a house you can't enter throughout the whole game. I wonder what's going on in there?

-If you read the News Poster in the pub, it tells that DDC cultists have fled into Derlicon. This is a hint to one of the Easter Eggs in Mophe.

-In one of the houses, there is a note downstairs. It's hard to guess, but this note is actually a reference to the D-Mod "Revenge of the Ducks".

-One screen west of where the avalanche happens, there is a cave behind a rock. In there you meet two Dinkers, Zeddexx and Gokussj6... oops sorry, Kenji.

THE MOUNTAIN PASSAGE:
-In the south-east corner, in the mountain, there is a cave in there with 98 ducks.

PARNAX:
-Mayor Zhed is called "Jamie" in Wuyene during the cutscene. This is because Zhed is just a cover-up name.

-In one of the houses, there is a guy that will attack you if you hit him. In the same house is a talking building support.

-In the sleeping quarters, you can kill the owner.

-In the dying man's brother's house, you can hit the table and it will leave and will never return again.

-During the knight-training quest, you can talk to the students. They say their names are Jonathan, Dr.Phil and Oprah. If you didn't know, Dr.Phil and Oprah are references to talkshows called... yeah you guessed it, "Dr.Phil" and "Oprah".

-Near the Castle of Glamour, an old granny will attack you. She is actually a cannibal.

CASTLE OF GLAMOUR:
-There is a golden heart in the Goblin Mines that is impossible to get.

Hopefully you liked this D-Mod and this walkthrough,
Skull

Omg I somehow missed this walkthrough back when it was posted apparently. Amazing piece of work, I wish more authors would go through the trouble of writing a guid such as this for their own work (I know some have).

It's not clear what must be the percentage of done tasks right before leave the castle, and what to do to increase from 88% (at castle lounge) to 100%.

I'm loving the mod! Congratulations, Skull. Btw, can you tell us the soundtrack list? Loved the songs, also the one played in first village (I guess it's from Alf ).
