The Dink Network

So, because the staff are too freaking lazy to get off their butts and start doing something, and me feeling like I haven't contributed enough for Dink and TDN in the recent times, I hereby decided to make an unofficial (now official) RRR for Q3 & Q4 of 2010! Now, if the staff would be so kind and actually make this a news article, without giving too much of their blood, sweat & tears, I'm sure many people would appreciate it.

16 files, with only three of them being D-Mods, have been released in the past two quarter and now it's time to vote for your favorite D-Mod and non-D-Mod file.

The basic rules of the RRR are as follows:

1) You can vote for one D-Mod and for one Non D-Mod file. You cannot vote for two D-Mods or two Non D-Mod files.
2) Voting is done by posting a reaction in this topic with your choice.
3) You can not change your vote. So make sure you think before voting!
4) Only "well known" members are allowed to vote. This means that no ghosts or really new accounts can vote. This is done to prevent people from voting with alternate accounts.
5) Discussion about the files is encouraged. But please, no spamming or attacking other members!
6) The two D-Mods and two Non D-Mod files with the highest amount of votes of each RRR will participate in the Download of the Year Awards for their respective category sometime during 2011.

I'm pretty sure "Smallwood-Man!" should be on there as well. If there are files newer than Smallwood-Man! on the list, why not that DMOD?

My own D-Mod vote goes to JugglingDink's Pinky The Pig and to Iplaydink's Swedish translation of The Bomb. Why the translation? Because it is an unique file that not many could have or bothered to have done, so we don't have many translations here and rare files are nice.

My non dmod vote goes to my armor demonstration, I myself think it's the best I've done, I don't want to sound selfish or anything but I really liked how it turned out xD
(Except for the graphics, of course... I should make new in 3D someday...)

Non D-Mod: Hmm lots of great ones here.
Armour demo is pretty good... so is the beds graphics pack and the Blonca... and... erm... I'll vote for DieDinkDie, cos I like it and it's fun!

My non-vote applies for the Armor Demonstration. Definitely an effective element to enhancing the Dinking experience.

My Dmod vote goes with Pinky, because of how porky the Dmod was.

Lots of pretty good non-dmod files there. My votes go to The BOMB's swedish translation and Pinky the Pig!

and non Dmod my choice is Die Dink Die. it is neat to use for stuff like a spell going fatally wrong.

My DMOD vote goes to Smallwood-Man! Despite all the bugs and stuff, I actually enjoyed it! Well, that, and the fact that voting for my own DMOD makes me feel like a *BEEP*... Or are you allowed to say ass here? Meh...

As for the non DMODs, that's a tough one... But in the end I think I'm gonna have to vote for the Blonca, just 'cos it's cool and there aren't any Dink monsters similar to it...

Non Dmod, Blonca. This thing is overwhelmingly cool... I'd love to meet one. It kinda looks like a land-dwelling version of Australia's own, almost extinct Blobfish
