i would get something else if there was more interesting games under $20 but most of the other games under $20 are stupid games like bookworm adventures or belles beauty boutique
and im to lazy to look up trailers for some other games that were under $20 well they do have world of goo which i kinda want

To be completely fair, Bookworm Adventures IS actually a pretty fun game, though you should have a decent vocabulary if you want to make any decent combo moves in that game. Belle's Beauty Boutique definitely sounds like crap, though.

Don't buy either of them. Save your money for something better in the future.

Starcraft II is going to feature FAR more plotline and backstory lore compared to the first Starcraft!

For once I agree with Skorn. The older games may have been cartoony, or having fuzzy graphics, but they were really fun to play. Look at Crash Team Racing for example.

Ohh Crash bandicoot, monkey island, simon the sorceror, Quest for glory, monsterbash they were cool wee games, what was wrong with the graphics on those.... It didnt take ages to load them before you could play either. The newer ones I dont like so much either and feel they're a bit unnecessary - sure they may look real - but we all know we are playing games here don't we? Do they really need to be like that? I enjoy games like Dink because they're um.. "cleaner" with their graphics and don't take a week to load... Just MHO

Dink's actually got pretty realistic graphics compared to other RPG's of it's time. Mainly because it wasn't done in an "anime style" like most others. Videogames are worse nowadays because the creators of the game don't have such love for videogaming nowadays than in the past. They don't really care what's the outcome as long as the game has decent graphics and sells good. Money is all nowadays, not entertaining other people anymore.

Play Limbo on XBLA. Then play Braid.

I'm with Sabre, I played both games a bit and Assassin's Creed is better, IMO. Though, honestly, Dark Void isn't *terrible*... it's just not very good.

THAT and Graphix. I just don't see a point. Ever since 3D hit the market, games have slowly began to be more unplayable. The reason is 3D can cause lag. Badly. If the game's frame rate is crap, which happens a lot, it can cause the games to lag and stop responding. even on top consoles such as the PSP and Wii. I have so many problems with lag. Add that with the fact that a crap-load of gamers today are graphix whores and you have the ultimate downfall of video entertainment.

2D can cause lag, too. Bad coding or a low end PC cause lag. Etcetera, etcetera. Fact is, there ARE some new interesting games coming out, especially for Nintendo's consoles. I found this year's E3 to be less than standard.

Yeah, they're combining the dungeons plus palette style of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess awesomeness and the result is Skyward Sword. Awesome.
