To the recent board spammer: STOP SPAMMING THE BOARD.

To any forum mods: If possible, shorten the spam-thread titles so it doesn't break the forum please. I like to keep deleted threads in view, and having deleted threads that break the main forum page is disconcerting.

There are board spammers? Well at least the mods do their unpaid job well.

Just a thought - maybe limit the number of characters in the headers... rather than play catch up after those idiots do that??

That's the same guy from a couple of years back. I can recognize him from his style... It's a shame the only thing he has learned seems to be some new words.

Just ignore the threads, change your forum preferences so that you can't see deleted threads, and put your feet up.

Oh, and don't respond to him. You're just contributing to the problem if you bump his posts to the top of the forum.

I'm not sure if you're trying to be witty or insulting here, but I visit tons of them and TDN really has it the worst in comparison.

Eh, most spam and spammers get deleted and banned much faster on most other forums. It's really not that bad on the DN.

I've seen worse on some of my abandoned sites, lying dormant until they eventually dissapear off the net.

A forum with only 5 users, all of a sudden gets bombarded with 'elicit material' (pr0n) and hundreds (literally) new user requests, apparently originating from foriegn countries I have never heard of, and China. It was an ongoing thing, and they were using email addresses that they got from fake websites, they wouldn't even bother putting a front-page on their domain, they just used the free email service their web host provided.
