ATTENTION: If you're playing Historical Hero at the moment, stop. You're playing a version that can't be completed. Download this updated version to get the debugged D-Mod.

Blame Skull for the messed-up release. All should be fine now though.

In memory of Skull.
I'll be lazy and wait another few days for the next bugfix release. I've been in the developing end of the open-source spectrum, I know it will happen.

Why all the aggression? You kind of asked for a reaction like that with two updates within 24 hours. There is little reason to doubt that there will be a third one relatively soon. Now this is probably less than some of the updates on FIAT, but that was a long time ago...

Actually I'll use the same argument evilearl uses. I just want to see the finished product, and not be annoyed with the bugs. That can only be good, right?

Still deciding whether to play it now or wait for final updates.

Congratulations on releasing your first Epic D-Mod, Skull!

I'm playing through it now and it seems practically bug free (no critical things, at least).

But how can it become bug-free if everyone refrains from playing it until the bugs are gone? There will be no one to find the bugs.

Exactly what I have been saying. Dudes, since I had no betatesters, I think the D-Mod is doing dang good being bug-free. Seeing as all the worst bugs are gone now, I will stay behind my words and will not post another update unless I've received at least information about 10 or so bugs.

Why all the aggression? You kind of asked for a reaction like that with two updates within 24 hours. There is little reason to doubt that there will be a third one relatively soon. Now this is probably less than some of the updates on FIAT, but that was a long time ago...

No, I did not even kind of ask for a reaction like that. Usually when there is an update, I think people are like "Yay, an update. Now some bugs are fixed", and not like "I'll wait for another update, because I know this D-Mod still sucks". Yes, this is less updates in 24 hours than quite many epic D-Mods: FIAT, PQ, SoB.

Also, these are the final updates. I will not be posting another update probably in months, even maybe years. Ok, let's make a promise here; if people won't find more than 2 bugs inside the year, I will then fix those 2 bugs and update it. If they find 5 or over 5 bugs inside 2 months, I will then fix those 5 or over bugs and release an update. So there you go. Now go play it.

How about if you find a bug, you fix it. Then you release an update. That's what you're supposed to do, and there shouldn't be any problem with that.

Also, how long has it been since an Epic D-Mod has been released?
It has been years! So I think everyone should just bow down to Skull for having that much free time and patience.

There shouldn't be, but apparently that makes people wanna play my D-Mod even less. Or at least that's what it seems like by reading their comments.

It's not the updates per se that has me worried. But first you claim that any bugs present would be minimal anyway, and about a day later you find out that the entire game is unfinishable. How can you be so sure there are only a few bugs left now?

You are very confident of yourself, that worries me.

Also, these are the final updates. I will not be posting another update probably in months, even maybe years. Can I take that as a challenge?

EDIT: Also, it's better if we keep this discussion in one thread. Also keep one thread clean for positive comments.

The first bug was a normal bug, I admit it. The second one, I can assure you, is something that would have never crossed anyones mind and was not my fault at all. Why don't you just believe that the game is very bug-free when I say so? Would it be different story if I had the betatesters, or even if I only SAID I had betatesters?

Wow, you're fast. But just remember to level up and collect money, don't just jump into a new town straight away. Because if you do, you're gonna be in much trouble on the later half of the game.
