Sell anything that isn't food, soap or video games. This will vastly increase your budget.
All of the old games like Doom, Wolf3D, Alone in the Dark, Duke3D, and so on were the best of their time. Imagine a modern edition of those games, but with better graphics and the storyline the same. that would be pretty awesome!

Or the actual Xbox. Selling the console in order to buy the games would just be plain silly. 
Halo is pretty much the evolution of those games Goku mentioned... it is objectively better than them if don't count when they were developed. However, I would say it Halo is inferior to certain contemporaries such as the Half-Life series and Unreal Tournament series (though I have not played UT3, so I cannot say for sure how good that is).
