The one that is just someone whistling (dont usually have sound on) *yeah yeah bite me* hehe but when I did that one was awesome
I like that one in initiation when the dead man sails in. my fave in dink is tavern and danube. I like the entire Soulbringer soundtrack.
Not possible to pick. There are so many D-Mods and good MIDIs. Anyways, one of my favourites is the theme in CC 2 always when SS7 members appear.
That's the point, a MIDI isn't good by itself. It's good in the situation it is used, so it's hard just to pick a MIDI. If I'd had to pick one it'd probably be 'terra' a MIDI found in many DMODs, most notably Prophecy of the Ancients.
I agree. There's no true way to decide on a favorite midi unless you're picturing the scene it goes with as well, the midi on its own can be good but it's better when rolled up with a storyline.
But I'm in agreement with Skull, I like a lot of the CC2 midis.

Now, Skorn. Why don't YOU tell US what is your favourite MIDI?
I agree as well, with everyone.
Some I can think of now are the whistling one from FIAT (27 - probably the same one MsDinkAlot meant), the title tune and Death's tune from Initiation (201 & 406), and the unused MIDI 3 from Chores.

I have a soft spot for some of POTA's cheesy dance music. I'm also pretty partial to the music I put into BFTG, except for using the Mission Impossible theme (which doesn't fit the area it's in), and which I did only because so many other d-mods had used it and I wanted a different version in mind.
my fave MIDI from a D-MOD is dink from CC2.
perhaps a better question to ask would be, "which dmod has the best midi's?".

Does everyone expect/want midi's when playin Dinky? Is that an important part that enhances your enjoyment of the game? (spits out big words lol) Serious question...
Most good Dmods use the Midi's to their advantage. They greatly enhance the feel of the story, immersing players more towards what is going on and giving each scene a more dynamic enhancement. For example, a shocking scene where someone important that you grew to like dying, going well with a sad midi playing in the background or an evil one to emphasize the person slaughtering the character you liked.
Summary: Music, in a game, is VERY important.

I also like the MIDIs in BftG alot.
Yes, MIDIs/music definitely make the feeling to the game. Just think of it. If you were playing a horror game with no music or with music something like this, would it be scary? No, I don't think it would.
Music must be placed at the perfect spot and situation. Game/movie can also have no music, but only at right situations.

well said ex.
Dueling Banjos from The QFC.
The intro for Mystery Island was a cool one.
This topic is REALLY old, but it was fun to hear Alone (the Heart song) in Stone of Balance.
