Ok, so I spend a good half-an-hour working on Recondite Seventeen, compiling the poll comments, writing a progress report on Miasma v2, Generation 8, and FIAT v1.00, and then compiling a few misc. links. Then I'm nearly done... I go searching for one last link...

And my computer completely locks up. No keyboard response, no mouse response, it just locks up.

If I have the resolve, I may re-do it later today... but that just sucks.

Yesterday it worked

whewwww, I guess I am safe (being a fuzzy kat), and as for the children part..well... btw your computer is likely on strike, you must speak nice, sing songs and cuddle with it occassionally >^..^<

And if that doesn't work, just take out the hammer and beat in into submission

On the other hand, complete errorchecking, defraging and changing the internet cashe to be less than 1gb are always good ideas. Not sure about the internet one thou, it works good for me. ;0)

ummm.. i hesitate to point out that this feature has been around for the last 10 years. even my old old XT did this for me

Listen freak, if this is linux crap, I don't want to hear it. As for Office, it is brand spanking new, it is crashes next time you open word, there will be a side bar with the 'recovered document'.

so, how much did you pay fr that system?? I can give you an XT for nothing!

Hardware wise I eastimate on the current hardware I have it's $1200.00, but who knows. Software wise, maybe a few games I payed for, by nothing else. For the record, I wouldn't want that XT shoved up my ass none less use it.
