I was looking at reviews for my d-mods (Scratcher you b*****d! ) and it started me thinking.

Who is the harshest reviewer, who is the most generous? Who writes the best, who writes barmy old cack?

scratcher is the least generous reviewer, Kat is the most generous reviewer (wooh! go kat!), and bin seems to be the best reviewer; his opinoins are well thought and agreeabl

Now we're on the subject, well, sort of, I was wondering if anyone judges a D-mod by the language. Like Cheeze said in his review on Dink's Father, the language is indeed quite bad, and some other D-mods are also very hard to follow because of bad English or no use of punctuation what so ever.

Cheeeze does not take the language in account for giving his score, and neither do I, since I agree with Cheeze (he said: Because I'm not sure if the author's native language is not English or if the author's too young to use a dictionary to find out the correct spelling, I won't rate this part.)

But then again, why don't those authors have their D-mods beta tested?

Thank You for posting that twice, nitronic. It is no secret in The Dink Network, that I cannot make a dmod, therefore I review them, so when someone different makes a dmod, I try to offer them a little encouragement, so they will make better ones' in the future.

And as for Chapter Zero....I'll be reviewing it, if it ever gets released.(kids...) >^..^<

You obviously have never played some of the first dmods that came out. Without naming names, some of these ealier dmod authours(whose dmods were duds) went on to become great dmod authours. So based on that you yourself must be at the rip age of 12 or 13, stuck at the worse possible age of your life. >^..^<

But Kat, you probably should check out nitronic's page, for his Eternal Suicide D-Mod, and look at the screenshots. If anything, nitronic knows how to detail a screen... heck, the 'Half-Detailed' screens look fully detailed to me.

Wrong spelling, odd-sounding words and other minor problems like writing Los lobos's doesn't mean anything really, but problems that make the DMod hard to understand, and stay on with the plot, indeed do matter. Otherways, I don't really think language should be counted as a very big thing, it's lot easier for those to write good english who speak it all the time. (At least I have a pretty loose line with that)
