new dmods
I know it's summer, and everyones doing outdoor stuff, but I'm asking if anyones got any new dmods in the works? The last one I played was "mutant veggies". I'm more concerned with quests and epics, but will play a romp in a pinch. I can't even remember when the last new Epic came out. Well, I'll leave you all alone to work on them! Maybe this post will inspire anyone to get off their butts, and have at it! Don't bother to tell me to make one of my own, I don't have a clue as to how to even begin! (actually, I don't have a clue---period)!
Well, I'm working on Frozen In Time. Just look at all the D-Mod previews. And about the summer thing, over in Australia it's actually Winter. It's pretty cold too...
You live in Australia?! Cool, I always wanted to go there. I live in Maine, USA. Does it snow in Australia? I'll keep an eye out for your dmod. Thax for answering.
My 4th d-mod who is actually a DEMO is released. Now i'm making "Adventures of Rand - Goblin Attacks!".

Why not complete your previous D-Mod instead of making a new demo? You could always update them and make them better not just release them and abandon them It's fun to upload a new D-Mod but don't forget about those you have uploaded already.
He just released The Fall of Imperial Seth. Now he's making another D-Mod, instead of making the another one ready.
Oh, and by the way: Why the hell hasn't staff posted news in LONG time!?

Well, why then, they doesn't even upload my trailer of FT (Fall of Darkness) even I posted it 2 weeks ago?
It doesn't really snow much in Australia, unless of course you live up pretty high, where I live in Tasmania (the southmost state in Australia) we had a snow day last year and it snow a little a few years before that but didn't settle. I live pretty close to a mountain so my family used to drive up there when it snowed and we'd have great fun. What other interesting weather do people have where they live?
Not really interesting in the Sydney suburbs. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it's sunny, sometimes it's windy...not really that interesting.
Sydney? Hey hey hey! That's where SimonK lives! You know him?
I wish it snowed where I live - in Brisbane - but alas and alack, it doesn't...

You know this person on earth perhaps? About 170 cm tall, hair, ears, nose, mouth, sound familiar?

Nope.
Nope.
In this United States, we don't use the metric system! Please, say a prayer for my DAD!?
Epic D-Mods, you say? Hmmm... well, my making list is quite messy. Lol!
But I can say that ROG (The Rise of the Goblins), is coming out this YEAR. It is an Epic D-Mod. It ^should^ be out atleast in the end of this year.
Aswell, Fall of Darkness: Battlefield, is coming out next year, sometime. An Epic one aswell.
And the Name of the Cast D-Mod is a large Quest, enough to say an Epic.
So, that's everything I have to say of my Epic-Quest D-Mods.

"this year"
"next year"
"my Epic-Quest D-Mods"
That's just a bit unrealistic, don't you think? Unless you rush it or don't really make it "epic".

Skull's dictionary:
Epic D-Mod - A small D-Mod, made in a short amount of time. (Romp.)

...I was working on one for a while, but I gave up after my computer got formatted like... in December. So eventually I'll stop being lazy and start over.
EDIT: Actually... I still need to download CEdit and windinkedit and all that, which'll probably put a damper on my motivation for a while.

Been working on a PortTown Dmod(Original Eastern Islands). Taking forever getting the graphics set-up right though.
I'm always tinkering with CC3, but I doubt it will ever be finished. There's just too much stuff I want to put in there. It's also stopping me working on any other d-mods I dream up - whenever I start working on another concept, I feel like I'm cheating on a loved one.
I could do with another contest to bring me out of this slump. Meh.

I have exactly the same problem... I have ideas, new graphics to my new version of FoT, but I just can'twork on it. Every time I say to myself "let's get this over with, let's work some on this" I just get terrible bored of everything about it and quit.
I agree with Sabre... A new contest would be a big relief

This must be very common problem. I have it too. But I think it's the new game I got recently that's put me off working on FIT for awhile. Everytime I begin working on FIT, I work on it for anywhere to five minutes, to half an hour. But then, I just start playing games. I don't know what's cme over me. Either way, I hope to get my D-MOD finished soon.
Half an hour?! Geez, that puts the day long sessions working on CC2 into perspective...
The hardest part is that CC3 has to be an improvement on CC2, and given the hours that went into that d-mod, the proposition is pretty scary. One of the things that made CC2 so good was the insane amount of dialogue the d-mod contained - and matching that is a huge task.
One of the nice things about working on The Baslisk Smile was that it was so different to anything I'd made before. I didn't get caught up thinking "this combat is more boring than in my last d-mod", or worried about the amount of dialogue still left to implement. Because there was next to none... The Basilisk Smile's defining qualities came out of my laziness. If you want to put a village in your d-mod, but don't have the inclination to write dialogue, how do you do it? Turn everyone to stone! Brilliant. Not sure what the plot is, nor where it's going? Have a mysterious girl drip feeding you clues and running away. Then just throw some kind of plot in at the end! Lovely stuff.
I seem to be rambling. Basically, I think I need to make a small d-mod again. Something easy to make, with no complicated scripts or clever plot twists. Hmm...

Yeah, again I agree fully. If there'll be another contest, I'm going to put up a fight. It seems so easy to get ideas to a contest because it's already decided what the D-Mod must be about.
