Yes it's almost the time of the year when people are going on a vacation. I was just wondering how many of you are going on vacation.

I'm cycling 450km north on friday to go on a fishing trip for the weekend, does that count?
ACTUALLY, my parents went on a vacation a few days ago and now I have to milk, feed and take care of the cows myself! Luckily, they should be coming back tomorrow...
I might be going camping for a while.
More likely I'll stay at home and just take day trips into the Lake District, Peak District or Wales, all pretty close by and some of my favourite places to go.

Well, we're not going anywhere these holidays seeing as it's freezing. Last night it got to dang 6 degrees!! And today they're saying it's gonna be 16!! And we live in Queensland! And we're in a drought! Oh, the misery...
Anyway, later this year we're going camping.

It's winter there isn't it? Do you have school holidays at the same time as us in the north anyway in July/August or do you have them in summer in Decemberish time?

Yup, it's freezing cold. It's even snowing in some places. Not in our area though. It sucks. We're on holidays now, we'll be on holidays agan in a bout 10-12 weeks. And we have summer/Christmas holidays in December.
