I'm delaying the demo of "PlaneWalker", as I got an X-Box for christmas, and it's great.

It's nearly done though..in fact, the riginal demo IS done, but I decided to let you roam around Sigil a bit (Yes, I stole that from PlaneScape).

It should be pout in January though, for certain (only a little bit more to do).

the terms Xbox and "great" may onmly be used in the same sentence when you are running linux on it

Yes, you CAN run linux on an xbox, which seems kinda funny seeing as microsoft are the last people who want to be supporting linux

It's not as amusing, since it's not running on a competitor's console (competitor in a different market, yeah, but nevertheless) and because it's actually endorsed...but the PS2 Linux kit seems funkadelic too.

Yeah right ???

there are 4 good games ... sorry 3 good games for that thing !!!

I was thinking about getting me one, but then I noticed the reviews (www.ign.com)... sad but true none of those 2 machines rule !!!

If honest only the PS2 is worth the money at the moment !!!

The Gamecube has Eternal Darkness, the entire Resident Evil series (well, soon, anyway), Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, Star Wars: Rogue Leader, and Metroid Fusion. And Legend of Zelda is around the corner. None of these are available on the PC.

The X-Box has Halo, Morrowing, Mechassault, and that other crazy $200 Mech game. That's like it. And of those, Halo and Morrowind are ported t the PC. With Halo, not now, but later.

The PS2 has the GTA series, the FF series, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet and Clank (or something). The GTA series always gets ported to the PC, and so does some of the FF series (VII and the Online one, I think).

So the ideal solution would be to grab a PC and a Gamecube, IMHO

for europe :

Eternal Darkness = exellent

Resident Evil remake = ok

Resident Evil Zero and 4 (coming not so soon !!!)

Monkeyball 1 & 2 = good but counts as one game

Super Mario Sunshine = good but overhyped

Pikmin = certainly not for everybody (only cubefreaks actually)

Rogue Leader = ok but finished way to quick

and oh yes metroid and zelda = they will come eventually and they will be good, very good but you'll have to be patient ... for a long long time !!!

so Gamecube ??? Nope, not yet !!!

I have been playing many Gamecube games for months now (well, some for months, some for weeks) such as SuperMonkeyBall, Eternal Darkness, Super Smash Bro's, Resident Evil, Turok, Pikmin etc, and now I have an X-Box, I can safely say it is FAR superior.

The Gamecube is good for a while, and some of the games are great fun, but it just can't compare with the graphics or deep gameplay of some X-Box games (though I admit, most are s**te).

And whoever it was who listed great X-Box games missed out Jet Set Radio Future, and the sublime Splinter Cell.

And Co-operative Halo is incredible!

bill gates has one more acess point into peoples homes now

just wait untill he tries to use xbox's as a way to monitor your telephone activity, and cuts your line out every time you swear, or say anything negative against his wonderfull corporation. Then, he'll send the goon squads round every time you turn it off, or diable this feature in any way, they will be wearing white coats, and carrying lots of official lookng documents, and they will be chanting "sue, sue, sue"...

anyway, you get my drift. (and no, this is not meant to be taken seriously!)

I agree with sabretrout. I have played games from gamecube, and they are great but the xbox games are far superior. Very few are worth buying but the ones that are, are definately great. But yes you always wonder if bill gates will access your home network and screw around with you 24 7 just to p**s ya off. The problem with xbox is all the games that should be only for xbox eventually come out for ps2 and gamecube which will hold them back. I heard any game company can propose a game to microsoft for xbox. Hmm, maybe someone could make up a team of ultimate d-mod creators, buy the license from rt-soft and make a mod for xbox! "Dink Smallwood... 2!" heh.
