Actually, I find Facebook quite useful.

I thought myspace was lame too but got one finally as was addicted for a short while. Still, I don't use it to meet people... just to talk to family friends. I'm not so addicted now, but... meh

Wikipedia says: "MySpace is a social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music, and videos."

Basically, it's a nice way to either A) keep in touch with those you care about, B) annoy the piss out of your friends and other random people, or C) see how popular you can become in a cess pool of random people.
