He who laughs last...

...didn't get the joke very quickly?

He who laughs last has no humour.

How do people measure who laughs last? When he starts laughing or when he stops laughing?

Starts usually. Finishing last is usually the person who has the most mental instability.

Yet whoever laughs last, laughs longest. That's what they well me, anywho.

So can we state that somebody who doesn't get the joke very quickly is mentaly instable?

Taken to extremes, yes. I was thinking in terms of about half an hour when I said stops laughing last.

I can really picture this, and yes, I'd say such a person has a mental instability.
