I'm Back
After a long (4.5 years) break, I came back on a whim, suprised to even see the site was up and running
A lot has happened, man.
The Dink source code has been released, an attempt has been made to make a sequel to Dink, called Windemere, but it failed. You can still download the source to Windemere though, if someone wants to continue it (I highly doubt it, but still).
Also, Dink 1.08 is almost finished (release candidate 4 is for download somewhere here) and it's a BIG improvement over the older version. Check it out.
A couple of major D-Mods have been released as well, I'll name a few I know at the moment: Pilgrim's Quest, Cast Awakening: Initiation and Cloud Castle 2. It also seems (to me) that the Dink community is growing like fungus, a lot new people are developing and trashing the board. Did I say trashing? I meant enriching.
So, how've you been doing?

Well Christiaan, sorry to contribute to the 'trashing' of the board ... I think quite a few of us have been around without actually having accounts for a while now... but I do hope its not too painful for you, all the new faces...
It's nice to see that people still enjoy old games, and see the charm that Dink has. I would hate it if people suddenly just.. stopped joining the Dink community. So yes, it's not too painful. I love it.
Welcome back Wesley!
(Even though I can't really speak of 'back', since I wasn't around 4 years ago... )

Good to know Christiaan... and hey Wesley, I can't really welcome you back, and haven't really been around officially long enough to even extend a proper welcome, but hey, nice to see that Dink has some long-lasting effects!
Welcome back mate, congrats on all your success in real life Allthough I have never met you before, but I have played your wonderfull D-Mods.
Yup, like the villian in a bad horror series... the Dink community just will not freakin' die.
Good to see you back.
Good to see you back.
Welcome (back)!
Yes, do stay now!
Eventually everyone will come back! Mike Snyder, Silencer, Gary Hertel! It just takes time

lol Silencer I can maybe get him back right now if you want, but I don't really like him.
Welcome back, Wesley! I'm making a Legend of Tenjin rip-off. Sort of.
Welcome back Wes! Will I get my beta test invitation for The Box after 4 years of waiting now?
I hope your being back doesn't mean your wife left you or something...
And no, I'm not back. Nostalgia forced me to look at the site again and I just noticed Wesley being back so I kind of had to say something.
By the way, I *almost* thought Windemere was a fact after I saw Dink 1.08. Too bad it isn't and never will be, truly.
Cya all again in another 2-3 years perhaps
