Introducing: The American Taliban!
Not that I want to taint the perfect American image any further, but here is a snapshot of the American Taliban!
Pretty cool, eh?
Pretty cool, eh?
"Not all Muslims may be terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims."
That's a good quote.
Religion saddens me...

Religion saddens me...
Yeah, it's a good thing none of these nutjobs are in possitions of power, otherwise we could really be in trouble!
Because most of these people wish for the laws of a single religion (and their own interpretation of them) to be placed as national law.
It's a completely nonsensical list. Fred Phelps (sp?) is an insane cultist with three followers, who thinks that Ronald Reagan is going to hell for being to liberal. Ann Coulter (sp?) is a very well known and modestly influential conservative commentator. George Bush Sr. is a former president. Putting them together on the same (web) page makes it seem like there's some vast right wing conspiracy to cram the ten commandments into the constitution. In reality, these people aren't really coordinating together, though most of them are members of the republican party.
Personally, I do find American Christianity as twisted and politicized as modern Islam. You all know how Jesus was so totally anti-abortion and anti-fabulous. And he would have been all gung-ho for welfare reform. fudge the poor. Christians tend to be kind folk, though, whereas muslims (or at least those I see on TV) possess tremendous malice towards many Western institutions (also, Jews.)

I give that page two thumbs up for most quotes taken out of context...way to go
I get the feeling those people have VERY deep closets.
Some people will say anything to get control of a crowd.

thats a very naive statement. the american media is a mind control device, keeping the nation barely informed on what the hell is really going on in the world. as you can see the media ONLY shows that the muslims are all rampaging terrorist who hate western culture. this is NOT true AT ALL. for example, how would you feel if all of a sudden canada invades the US because they hate how george bush jr is running things? they come trying to "change" the way we have been living for 300 years (in the middle east case thousands). if i was a "patriot" of the US im sure i would try to do anything in my power to stop the canadian invasion (like drivign a car loaded with explosives into a tank).

And I'm sure you'd also go blow up a series of busses full of innocent people in Mexico.
If you're judging most Muslims by what you see on TV - if you're judging anything by what you see on TV - then I think you've let someone pour a big barrel of oil in your pool of logic.
And I guess all muslims in the world participated in that? Open your eyes man, these kind of statements is what this endless violence is causing.
So you're saying that all muslims *would* ram explosive filled trucks into tanks?

I hope that sentence was just an extended sarcasm from the previous one, because that's simply ridiculous and shows how sheltered Americans are. Islam, fundamentally, is a religion of peace, like most religions. Like most religions, it's been perverted by the selfish, ulterior motives of religious and political leaders, turning the original meanings to their own purposes. Christianty has suffered this more than any other religion on earth, claiming superiority for hundreds of years, wiping out entire cultures and even civilizations in the name of Jehovah. Likewise, it is people like this who lead the Muslims against America, but their civilians - their average Joe (or Hashish, whatever) - is just trying to live a safe and good life like any other human.
A modern day example would be the term "jihad", which I have not once heard used in its primary meaning, which is an internal, spiritual war, in which you prove your faith to Allah. Again, it's the leaders like Osama who pervert the meaning to inspire hatred and polemicism to the people, and I doubt there is anyone on earth exempt from this type of propaganda.
So really what I'm saying is to remember your own vulnerability to your leaders' perverted truths, and try to attack their leaders, not judge their audience, because you are most likely as guilty as they.
Anyway, I was posting this site more for amusement than anything else, especially a rant! I mean seriously, read this stuff, lol:
"Your tax dollars are being used to pay for grade-school classes that teach our children that cannibalism, wife-swapping and murder of infants and the elderly are acceptable behavior."
"Causes of homosexuality include: 'sex with animals'"
“George Bush was not elected by a majority of the voters in the United States, he was appointed by God.”
Amen!

Rey...I have missed your witty remarks..

"their average Joe (or Hashish, whatever) - is just trying to live a safe and good life like any other human."
That's rather a generalization, don't you think? Have you met the majority of moslems?

I am sure he has not. But have you? And have you met the majority of Christians? I'm sure you haven't either, so perhaps that renders what you said in the first place "rather a generalization."
