It's a completely nonsensical list. Fred Phelps (sp?) is an insane cultist with three followers, who thinks that Ronald Reagan is going to hell for being to liberal. Ann Coulter (sp?) is a very well known and modestly influential conservative commentator. George Bush Sr. is a former president. Putting them together on the same (web) page makes it seem like there's some vast right wing conspiracy to cram the ten commandments into the constitution. In reality, these people aren't really coordinating together, though most of them are members of the republican party.

Personally, I do find American Christianity as twisted and politicized as modern Islam. You all know how Jesus was so totally anti-abortion and anti-fabulous. And he would have been all gung-ho for welfare reform. fudge the poor. Christians tend to be kind folk, though, whereas muslims (or at least those I see on TV) possess tremendous malice towards many Western institutions (also, Jews.)
