Happy Natal Day! And thanks for everything Dink that you do!
So tell me, oh great preserver of all things Dink, is it...
1) Re-Dink(because we are always reinventing and reviving this silly guy in the green tights)?
or
2) Red-Ink(because you spend so much time and money on this effort)?

@redink1: Happy belated birthday!
@SlipDink: As far as i know it's Red Ink.

It's 'red ink one'.
As the story goes, when lil' teenage Dan dialed-in to the internet over the phone line at a blistering 14.4 kbps, he signed up for an e-mail account at the super-cool-and-popular hotmail.com. You see, at the time he was obsessed with video games such as Mortal Kombat and Doom and other games which gushed blood about the screen in impressive bursts. He thought that 'red ink' was a neat allusion to his then-appreciation of the bloody arts-and-crafts he played with daily, but 'redink@hotmail.com' was already taken. But, 'redink1@hotmail.com' was available, and the rest is history.
This was probably a few months before I first heard of Dink Smallwood (I learned of Dink Smallwood around May '98, and I probably created my e-mail account late '97 or early '98).

I feel like almost two decades of confusion and debate was just settled... What an occasion.
