Headless Ducks
Redink, are you going to put a limit on the same icons being used? There must be 10 different users with the same headless duck with grass profile icon. You should put a limit so only 2 people can have the exact same icon because there are lots of different combinations, and there aren't that many dinkers here.
But, with all the people recently joining, we would possibly, eventually run out of icons. There would be a limit on the max. amount of users!
Yes, there is a dink hysteria!! Millions are joinging!! No, they aren't. We aren't going to run out soon. Most of the dink users with headless ducks and grass don't post or release files. And they obviously aren't very creative or expressive. Unless of course, they don't have a head and are covered in white feathers. We also get new icons and backrounds occasionally, and we could set new limits if it ever got to that point.
You could set something to regulate the icons & backgrounds.
Two new users : duck and grass
Next two users : duck and next background
Next two users : duck and next background
All duck done, then:
Next two users : next icon and grass
Et cetera.
After all icons & backgrounds, just start the cycle over again.

I thought about it, but there hasn't really been many problems with people 'stealing' other people's icons. There are like 1600 or so combinations, probably more because I think that was the number from December 2001.
There must be 10 different users with the same headless duck with grass profile icon.
That is sort of intentional. That way you can easily spot new users, as that is the default icon.

why not make the icon editable making personal icons for every 1
Because then a lot of Dink icons would stop being related to Dink...and we like things associate with Dink. They are fab.
Plus, on longer posts with lots of different icons, it would take me a heck of a lot longer to download the page on me 25.4kbps modem.
If you didn't understand that, then it's YOU who have so much to learn. Oh, and don't go insult people who are wiser than you. Now, 25.4 kbps is probably his connection speed, in which case he shouldn't refer to it as his modem speed.
Now, I'll put that into layman's terms just for you: they don't sell 25.4 kbps modems, becuase they don't exist!

The only tags that TDN supports are links, bold, and italic. However, Staff can use whatever tags they like

Shiet, thought I was smart.
(Don't have time for this anyway. Have to prepare to witness the salvaging of the sunken tricolor ship in the English canal. Oh what a horrible job I have.)

How come so many sensible posts have been deleted? Or was that another thread? Or perhaps another site?
