Yeah...I don't think being "racially pure" has anything to do with whether you deserve to live or not, but that's just me. Well actually, I really hope it's not just me. In fact, I don't think racial purity has much or anything to do with whether you are bad person, either. You can blame culture (mostly) for that one.

And by the way, this isn't totally related, but when people who have similar bad recessive genes have kids, genetic problems are much more likely to happen (like what happens with incest often). As far as I know, similar races are more likely to have the same recessive genes, so you do the math. Basically, I don't think racial purity matters, at all. Find someone you love, not just someone who looks like you.

So I'll definitely have to see some reputable studies finding that pure breeding is truly better genetically (and not as I've read in some places, just one step up from inbreeding) before I can trust what you are saying, let alone agree with the fact that the parents should be thrown in jail (which I would not, by the way, even if the jail statistic was true).

Everything I've found and read hints that interracial breeding is no worse than breeding within your race genetically and could even have added benefits, the only problems come from a culture that isn't prepared to handle it. So how has throwing the kids or parents in jail even become a debate? Where did you hear that kids from mixed race parents are 15x more likely to go to jail?

By the way, there's not nearly enough jails in the world to hold all the racially impure people in the world who have had children. Nor enough people who aren't in jail themselves to adequately serve as jail guards. For instance, I'm part Native American. How much? Probably like 1/100 or less. I guess I better not have kids, because that means I'm not a racially pure white person.

I'm not sure if you are talking to me or Punisher, but... It just bothers me to see people hurting each other or talking about how they should hurt each other, and then justifying it with reasons that likely aren't even close to the truth. And yes, I think throwing someone in jail is equivalent to "hurting" them. Hurting the kid, too, more than likely, by taking away their parents. Then spreading hate further, causing the kid to hate him/her self and their parents for something that wasn't even wrong.

But to decide what you think is right, I think it deserves a little more than just gut feelings, it takes some experience in the real world and some quality research too. I err on the side that it's not a good thing. My reasoning? Well, just thinking about the people that make the stuff (the actors, directors, etc) kinda gives me bad goosebumps. And I do think it's more oppressing towards women than empowering, along with encouraging a little too much separation between men and women. Well, the thing is, just about anything you could do to rid the world of porn would be potentially morally worse than the porn itself. Removal of freedoms, censorship, brainwashing, etc, all bad ideas.

There's only one less dubious thing that can be done about it that I know, and that's to very gradually work towards a world that doesn't feel like it needs porn. Of course, even then porn will exist but at a little lower popularity.

But like I said, I think there are a lot bigger things to see to in this world right now than porn. I'm a little more concerned about all the people that still think that people who live in another landmass are somehow less human and deserve to be killed. And, well, a bunch of other stuff.

A thought just came to my attention. There's at least one certain type of porn that has been censored (i.e. deleted) so that we don't find it. To any person who has the indecency to make child pornography, I don't think that it's morally debatable at all. I just think that's plain sick and wrong, and one of the very few cases that I do support censorship in media. Even if a kid "obliges" they are not really going to know what they are doing and were likely pressured into it by whoever is trying to use them.

Despite being many things I don't like about the country, I know that not everyone in that country deserves such criticism. In fact, my high school actually had a foreign exchange student from Uzbekistan at one point who was extremely nice and seemed to be enjoying being in our country. I had a class with her, so I got to know her a little bit before she left and I don't regret it. Treat people as people, because pretty much no matter where you go you will find good people who's actions and kindness may surprise you.

You can actually go way back, to the times of ancient Greek, for example, and you'll find a lot of pornographic material there. Porn is common, taking craps in front of people's houses is not, although I'm sure there is a subculture of people somewhere who do it together as a community. Take drugs for example. Drugs are a big part of youth culture, whether or not they are good. I think drugs are bad most of the time, in fact I had a family member die from a prescription drug he shouldn't have had, but I'm willing to admit that they are a large part of culture. I don't really think it's even necessarily the fact that he isn't linking to proof, but that he himself can't back up his beliefs in a simple sentence. Makes me wonder if he really even believes in what he says, or if he's just rather throwing a fit.

Other than just the possible moral issues behind porn, there are some things that porn can do to you and your mind if you are vulnerable which can damage your relationship and sex life even if your spouse doesn't dislike porn. It's kind of like drugs though, in that it affects different people in different ways. Some people can watch a little bit of porn and still have a great sex life and a clean mind while others end up addicted to porn and can't even climax with their partners any more even if they try (but often they won't even feel like it) and end up terribly miserable. So porn is not necessarily a horrible thing but if you are not careful it can easily become one, once again similar to drugs. If anyone is interested I can try to figure out where I found this information but if you try to look it up it probably wouldn't be too hard to find.

I actually found some information about the studies you mention. There is one thing I would like to add to the argument though. People who are more vulnerable to family issues, addiction, violence, and kidnapping are more likely to be very interested in porn than those who have normal/happy lives, and incorporating that information into a study is very hard. So it's probable the study was unintentionally biased against porn in that way. Don't get me wrong though, porn can affect your mind, but likely to a lesser extent than studies suggest.

However I do think children having easy access to porn is a very bad thing. When you are 12 or 16 or whatever, you are a lot less likely to have the self control, knowledge, and careful judgment that you would have when you are 18 or 20, for example. So the ease of access of porn online I think, is a very bad thing. Porn should not be banned (like what Iceland might be doing) because that's an extreme breach of freedom and it'd end up like when the US banned alcohol (but probably even worse!), but I think porn sites should not be so easily accessed either.

Racially pure or not, some people are just donkeys. The single example of correlation you mention is not a proof of anything. Ever heard of Correlation vs. Causation? You could just as easily say that you mother is so bad because she is a woman and not a man (which would be stupid, by the way).

It is also possible (likely) that your mother's side of the family realizes you're full of hate towards them, you think they should be thrown in jail, you look down on them for everything, so they wisely avoid you as such. For some reason, people don't like being threatened and hated by the ones they love, which has a much greater effect on self-esteem than your race or racial purity. I know I wouldn't want to hang out with you, family or not.

I'm not going to go so far as to say you are the cause of their problems because I know nothing about your family. But I will say that your extremely hateful feelings towards them are not going to make them ever ever want to see you. It is also possible (likely) that your mother's side of the family realizes you're full of hate towards them, you think they should be thrown in jail, you look down on them for everything, so they wisely avoid you as such. For some reason, people don't like being threatened and hated by the ones they love, which has a much greater effect on self-esteem than your race or racial purity. I know I wouldn't want to hang out with you, family or not.

I'm not going to go so far as to say you are the cause of their problems because I know nothing about your family. But I will say that your extremely hateful feelings towards them are not going to make them ever ever want to see you.
