Yeah, well I sorta got a bit, ah, angsty, but the depressing subject to my counterpart.

So, why do you think people are nice? Are the majority off people good? Or are they cultured to act that way? I personaly think that some people are good becuase they want to be, and not because socity says they must be, ah, proper. But then again, I may be naïve.

People are nice when they are nice, but if they are nice because they have some not-nice purpose, ahh, they're not nice.

I don't think being "good" has nothing do with the way people are cultured, but then again, what is good and what is bad, that is an opinion.

I'm a very nice person.

I was the nice part of the subject 'how cruel people can be' since I saved the poor guinea pigs.

I like to think I'm sexually generous; does that make me nice?

I beleive most people are nice to just stay with in the law...other wise all there will be is homocidal sexual feinds lurking about in more places then just my house...

As for society in general, I really don't like people. I'm not saying I'm a model citizen or anything, but my 15 years of experience in dealing with people in general has led me to believe that a good 80ish percent of them are generally just awful. Maybe it's just the people I've met over the course of my rather short existance; after all, I do go to school in what I like to refer to as the ghetto of Minnesota (almost everyone, and I do mean that, at my school does weed. The only people who don't are me, my friends, and a few other little cliques. And about half the people are really, really racist. And three-quarters of them are insanely homophobic. Did I mention that I really don't like my school?). Um. Where was I? Oh yeah. For the most part, no, I don't think people are very nice. But some do try; I know I try to be nice. I fail a lot. But I try really hard. I think I'm just bitter...

Most people aren't insanely racist in my state but just about everyone hates indians. I don't though.

I know nobody who hates indians. And I know a lot of people.

Well we are a racist state for shure... we were a main part of the KKK my grandfather was actually in it and seeing him walk around in present day super markets and such just kinda scares me...I cant judge people just because of some abstract thing like color or religion, but he can somehow, it is just beyond me how people can be racist

Vortex: Have you ever known someone who *swung that other way*? Cause if you did, you would know that they arn't really different from anyone else? Bah, I can't make you change your views, but they just seem silly to me. We have a few in our school, and if you didn't know, you'd never would. The entire school knows, and no one cares... There just people, right?

I know where I live the KKK had a following, yet today the younger generations have almost no racist actions, and are shunned if they do.
The thing is, that they become racist by association from their parents and their parents friends and they come to accept it, and become racist in turn. Its sad really.

When the KKK started, it was diffrent times. Blacks had just won their freedom, and a few white generals who had a very wrong abstract opinion feared what the blacks could become. That is when the KK was started. Anyone with a brain bigger than a ant knowns that racist related content, groups, or sayings are wrong. Personally if I ever hear someone using a racist word or sporting racist tatoo's or anything of the sort, I will not hesitate to kick the crap out of them.

But the truth of the whole matter is that racist people exist more now than ever. People who categorize "iraqi's" and "Afghan's" as terrorists, or just don't like arib's or mexicans, or whatever for no reason, is racist. Even I to a point am racist because we have alot of illegal immigrants from mexico in my neighborhood who speak no/little english, and come in a trash the hell out of the houses and properties and what do I call them when talking about these groups of people? "Stupid Mexican's". While I do not HATE these groups of people, saying such slangs are considered racist, the only things that seperates the two is I do not hate them, and I acctually like the few who do not trash up my neighborhood. The point is, you should not hate anyone for the color of their skin or their background but rather who they are.

On the other hand, I hate all of you regaurdless of who you are, you all piss me off.

How is it good to be scared of "hobos and homos"? AND you then go on to criticise how your grandfather (or whatever) can be against people because of the colour of their skin. Hypocrite.

Racism stems from fear. If you don't know something, if it's unknown, it's frightening.

But if a lot of people trash up your neighbourhood and you don't like them for that, it's because of their actions you don't like them - and they could be purple or whatever, it just doesn't matter how they look like or where they came from, it's what they DO that you don't like. So that's the difference.

I try never to blame someone for anything they could not choose (like skin color or upbringing ), but hold them accountable for what they do choose. So far so good.

Despite being hetero myself, I think homosexuality is OK. As far as I'm concerned, people are free to believe, follow, enjoy, etc. etc. whatever they choose. I can't just tell you to change your avatar because knights are filthy and wrong; if you like knights, then you should be permitted to go for knights.

I'm also a jolly atheist, so our views probably differ quite a bit. Um.. yep.

If you're fabulous, you're fabulous. They are that way and they might change it if they could, but they can't. Sure, they can choose to not have fabulous sex, but they would just live miserable lives.
And also, this guy on "tough crowd" said that there shouldn't be fabulous pastors because the bible is against it. The Bible is against alot of things, and you can find a reason to do almost anything if you look hard enough. Also, even if not being fabulous was one of the ten commandments, many priests and pastors have said the lord's name in vain, which is one of the commandments. So my opinion is that pastors and priests can be "out of the closet" fabulous.

If you take everything that is in the bible straight as it's written, none of us in the dink community can get to heaven. Also, "god" clearly mentions in several spots in the book, that he is just one god within many others... Then he later says that he is the one and only god. What a cheapish being he is! Oh well. I don't believe ½ of the rubbish written in that book, anyway.

Hey, priests molest children. That's nowhere to be found in the Bible, either.

People are imperfect so we do say the lords name in vain and break many of the rules in the bible, pastors and preists are also as imperfect as I so they do wroung also...In the bible it says a murder is equal to a lie in his eyes so just because we think molesting children is horrile its just as bad as when you disobey your parents... dont get me wroung I am probably the farthest thing from a christian its just my mom makes me go to church every sunday so i learn these things...i beleive in half of the bible though(also wroung)but ive read most all of the bible. But when you think about it, with thousands of different religions how could you ever be sure your takeing part in the "right" religion. I mean for all we know satan was santa and demons were his little elves...there is no way of knowing for sure...enough of that... but i do beleive being fabulous is a choice...in most cases... i believe that there are "special" cases where a Man might feel like a women on thwe inside, mental anomaly, like my friend, i beleive that she chose to become bisexual i dont think she has just been hiding in the closet or just had a revalation one day, or maybe its just a fad, in the end though there is no way of knowing...

it's not which religion is 'best' it's what religion fits best for you. all religions are actually equal and have the same purpose

I dont know about you but i did post the similarities between santa and satan on the thread where i noted the sword said Happy april or something last month...anyway...

I once saw an E-card that had santa turn to satan
