Dink's Speed, make him slower?
Should I make dink slower in my dmod.
YES or NO
just reply with the answer.
Remember: When dink moves just like other sprites ( humans ) than the game is longer ( he is slower, so it takes 10 min instead of 4 to reach a town for example )

Give him speed nuts or herb boots or something like that, so the player can choose.
Nah, unless you just wanna slow him down during cut-scenes and such, otherwise you don't really notice how fast he goes.
It also depends how fast the comp is you're playing it on. On my new one, Dink runs like hell, but he's just got normal speed...
NO, It's REALLY annoying when Dink takes 2 min. to get from one screen to the other
On my new one, ...
Yeah, my fast comp has that too. I'm used to that now, that's why I speed Dink up on my old pc with Ultimate Cheat
Oh, and don't make him slower. Don't change it or just let the player choose like Binirit said.
And if this is the way you wanna make your D-Mod an epic... (10 min. instead of the normal 4)

The game is 768 screens ( the whole map ) so its an epic already ( there is no way to complete the game, after you finished it, you can play further, there are 700 subquests and 5 main story lines )
Heh, now that's easy talking - you let Lesley do all the work (story & quests)
What? you're about to release an epic? when when when??
The map is done. the scripts and story not, lesley is still working on the stories, so I can script the quests and the 5 story lines.
Too bad Dethlord only knows the details

"There is no way to complete the game, after you finished it.."
A bit of a paradox, eh?

I ment: after you finished the story line
you can still change the game when you finished the story. You could kill somebody and then somebody could give you new quests ( second story line )

Yeah, my fast comp has that too.
Weren't you ever so surprised when you first saw that? It was almost going too fast: screen 1, wam!, screen 2, wam! Dink was gone before I knew it!
SpriteData is also going real fast!

It sure is a lot faster Then I increased Dink's speed with Ultimate Cheat
SpriteData is also going real fast!
Yeah, on my old one I first had to wait a while when I wanted to load them all: TAB E [ <-- That took some time on my old comp. Now I can work on a D-Mod, instead of waiting Creating World of DinkC was a lot easier on my fast comp
