Yeah, my fast comp has that too. I'm used to that now, that's why I speed Dink up on my old pc with Ultimate Cheat
Oh, and don't make him slower. Don't change it or just let the player choose like Binirit said.
And if this is the way you wanna make your D-Mod an epic... (10 min. instead of the normal 4)
