I'm making a D-Mod

I'm creating a D-Mod with inspiration drawn from Super Metroid and Half-Life with all new graphics and gameplay mechanics and it is going to be awesome.
Look, C:
No offence, but your Ghost status is just one of the reasons we're not very confident in your ability to create a Dmod. Make an account, that would be a start.
For the most part, this thread has absolutely no information about what you're doing for a Dmod. No story background, no screenshots of any new graphics you're using or how they're implemented, no evidence that you can even script anything.
Again, no offence, but please reserve telling us that you'll be making a Dmod for when you have proof that such a project is already underway.

With each post, the chances of this D-Mod seeing daylight are getting smaller and smaller.

Probably true. But since I'm with family now, I can't really work on it now anyway.
I'm making a D-mod
pht. you and everyone else.
(even me )

Post some screenshots and tell us about the story.
Sentence.
Sentence.
Don't forget to include the multiplayer and to fully utilize DirectX 10.
Long time ago,a man said the same thing as you said, and he did it.
Some times later, another man said it too,but no one have ever seen him any more...
Who shall you be,the first man or the second?

Hmmm... why do I have a feeling Joshriot's the ghost?
Oh that's right, word.
Oh that's right, word.
Any fool can put together a screenshot. We all know teasers are the way to proove you are actually making something.
One of those ghost-posts called me Evan. Sounds like Glenn decided to mimic.
How come you think it's Glenn? Even I know your name is Evan. So it could very well have been me aswell.
But I still think it's Joshriot.
But I still think it's Joshriot.
Because Glenn preffers to use only first names, he does it all the time in the Dinkchat
Anyone else who would call me that would have to actually bother doing research on whatever information there is about me.

No, actually. You have said atleast dozens of times that your name is Evan. Also, nobody uses "word", but Joshriot. But I don't really know.
This d-mod sounds like it could be a true classic.
Word.
Word.
With the amount of "it's going to be awesome"s said, this is obviously some kind of joke.
I was making a D-Mod but i made a book instead.
Well, some people didn't seem to notice.
What a Cowiki-Dink I was making a D-mod too.... maybe its ESP?
LOL! Was that a response to my post, or the main poster?
Seriously? Nested sucks?
Granted, it does take a little getting used to, but once you become accustomed to it, you'll find it really is far more superior that regular flat view. It certainly helps when seeing who is replying to who.

Yes, and that's about the only thing it's good for. In general chronology is more important as discussions tend to go off topic quite a bit. Also, people have the habit of replying to the last post most of the time, when someone is replying to the second to last post his post might end up in nested view somewhere completely near the bottom without any clue where it is replying to. Really helpful.
No, I really think flat view is superior to nested view.
It's a matter of live and let live: Flat view users should reply to the correct post so nested view users can see to who you reply and nested view users should make clear to which post they are replying to help flat view users. It can't be that hard to be clear.

As you said, nested view doesn't have a lot going for it other than being able to see who's replying who. If everyone made this clear regardless, there wouldn't be much point in using it... I've switched to flat view several times, but ultimately just find not knowing who the hell people are talking to far more annoying than what's it worth.
I also take a fair degree of pleasure in laughing at flat users who get all pissy for posts not directed at them.

Actually, nested view should just become the only option available, to avoid any sort of mess-ups people keep making. It's weird to keep seeing people say "what are you talking about?" when the reply is just below the replied-to post, or people replying to someone by replying to someone else's post.
Nested view is complicated looking.
I make much more sense out of flat view than nested view. I've never had too much trouble figuring out who was replying to who.

Better option; Posts get numbered and the number of the post you click reply on is displayed on the far right end of the Subject bar.
An idea, methinks?
An idea, methinks?
Back to the d-mod that as far as we know is only a concept and even that is very lenient. If you actually have an idea, don't post about it until you actually have something to show for it or need advice on scripting and crap.
In my add-on development for Battle for Wesnoth, I have an idea that would probably result in awesomeness that would crash the server. Difference is, I have no evidence of such an add-on existing or in the process of becoming real but I don't post about it. All that the BfW community can find out is that it is in the "thinking stage" as shown on my forum signature there. That is the equivalent amount of knowledge we can get about your d-mod right now.
This isn't twitter, if you're gonna say stuff like this you have to back it up.

Speaking of 'backing up your claim', my example would probably be a bit difficult, but screenshots wouldn't be.
QUADRUPLE POST!!
EDIT: Maybe try to open an acc.

Make an account to prevent people like Skorn to impersonate you.
Skorn always seems to do that, make an account. Then post evidence of making a Dmod.
