Maybe you should develop some sort of standard protocol for this. When the author no longer posts on the forum and no news is heard of the DMOD for more then 9 months the DMOD is removed from the list. If the author does still post on the forum or it is from a well known author you might keep it on longer.

On the other hand you have DMODs like mine: It isn't quite cancelled, but it hasn't seen any progression lately. So even though you don't hear of it it might still be finished. Still I see some DMODs on that list that I'm pretty sure will never be finished, because they have an unknown author that left the dinknetwork.

So how to keep this list up to date is a pretty tough call. You can't really rely on people saying when they've canceled a DMOD... The best thing to do would be to send every author on the list a PM every four months or something asking for the status of their DMOD and putting that into the list. That's way to much work to keep up though...

The status of my DMOD would be: "Work stalled" or something like that. (Maybe I should start a little DMOD for the DDC competition to get some new motivation...)
