Previous Dink history summarized:

allikitten frequented the Dink Network back in 2002 and well into 2003. She hated John Mellencamp. She liked me. I liked her. She became my first girlfriend, and it was a long-distance ordeal. 8 months or so after entering said relationship, I boarded a Greyhound bus and rode nearly a thousand miles to spend a week with her. Hindsight reveals that she wasn't really that attractive beyond sharing some of my interests, but I still maintain that the best week of my life was spent in Minnesota. Soon thereafter, she spent two weeks in Tennessee with me, and that was enough to pull back the veil hiding her unfavorable traits. Then she dumped me, and we traded more verbal barbs than you could find in every internet flame war combined. She fell under the impression that each and every Dinker would loathe her further presence at the DN, so she high-tailed it indefinitely. I didn't and don't care whether she posts here or not, but I sincerely doubt she'll make a return after half a decade of absence.

EatTheRats still keeps up with her, and I still keep up with EatTheRats, so it isn't very difficult to pin down her internet whereabouts. I lost interest in tracking her a long time ago, though, so that barely matters.

allikitten then started dating a goth-goon boyfriend and tried her best to emulate him in each and every way. Fool that I was, I tried to kiss ass and pose a little bit myself to either win back her faith or at least her friendship, I don't remember. Their strong interest in KMFDM (an industrial rock group) led me to download a few songs and tread in their footsteps. Alli has long since left that particular guy and probably has minimal interest in KMFDM these days, but my sad attempt to impress her actually left me infatuated with KMFDM, followed by industrial music in general. Recently I have even considered entering the realm of music and possibly making a career of it. You could say, then, that allikitten did leave an impact that still ripples to this day.
