Eh, it's moreso that there's a mod to put the original Baldur's gate as a mod of BGII:TOB. Then they throw in another 6 or 7 HUGE mods, lots of bug fixes and tweaks, new over-map, and then clean it up so it's possible to run on realistic hardware. It's nearly the same game, but not quite.
