If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
That largely depends on your connection and the file size. I used to have dial up, and downloading things like PQ, which is 33.69 Mb's, took forever (hours), but with the DSL, PQ takes around 5-6 minutes. So your connection has a big impact on the time it takes to download.
