The guitar you looked at was probably the more expensive version. The special KKV is much cheaper than that, and doesn't have a double-locking floating tremolo. And the pickups are probably different. I'm not sure though, but as I'm aware, there are two versions of the KKV.
Josh, you could render the tracks with less volume, and then normalize it in GoldWave. That's what I always do when multitracking, as you don't have to keep your eye fixed on the VU meter of your multitrack program on the mixdown. Try to keep the highest peak volume a bit under 0 dB when mastering so it won't clip.
