History was my last paper of the End term examinations of the year on Saturday. There was a question of Ten marks about Joan of Arc and the hundred years of war and we had to mark the significant locations where the famous battles took place. French history wasn't even in our syllabus or textbook and none of the students had a clue on what to do! All the students were quite nervous after coming the examination room as loosing ten marks straight forward was a big deal.

I was the only one in my whole batch of 180 students who was able to answer that question correctly, others had just gone and written rubbish. And that was thanks to that I was an Age of Empires fan and I had played that Joan of Arc campaign in Age of Empires II- The Conquerors. I had played it twice or thrice and exactly new what had happened and where thanks to the that mini map int the game. I had marked all the places according to what I had seen in the game. I knew that these cities were located actually on their real geographical position

And today, I got to know that I had topped in the examinations in the whole batch thanks to my History paper. I had got 94 marks while the second highest were 69 or 68(I don't remember exactly).
I usually ended up being fourth or fifth every year but thanks to AOE I will be recieving a trophy and a certificate this Saturday.
