I can't really think of any good hints for this one, so I've just decided to go to go with a spoiler.
First, you'll need hellfire magic. Then, go to the south eastern most portion of the island with the Ice Queen's castle (it's south of the bridge). Talk to the trees. Find the one that talks back. Keep casting hellfire on that tree till you find a secret passage. The rest is easy.
