: I recently re-downloaded Dink and download a heck of a lot of dmods... however, I cannot enjoy them to fullest, because somehow there's no music. There ARE sound effects, but the midis won't play. I know this could have been my soundcard and stuff, but the weird thing is, the midis always worked when I played Dink, and now I just installed it again and it they don't play... I changed nothing on my compuyer, so what could be wrong? or better, how can I fix this?

I had this problem a long time ago with my Soundblaster 128 PCI. It was so long ago I can't remember all the steps I took to remove the problem. I do remember that I changed the soundstate (I think that's what it was called) for the midi. For me there were 3 different options, 2mb, 4mb, and 8mb. I just would change that, play a midi, then change it back to the preferred state. I doubt this will help much, but maybe you could try something similar.
