I mentioned the official "Open Source" definition simply because you capitalized it. I still think it is a good idea because that avoid confusion - eg .NET is not "Open Source" but "Shared Source", which means you can barely do anything but reading it.
Maybe ASP provides a builtin way to make thumbnails from big pictures, that could avoid you doing them by hand.
