yes, dinkhd is notorious for general incompatibility issues across several dmods. for whatever reason, the powers that be insist on promoting it by shoving it in peoples' faces when they look for the base game on here...kinda a problem, especially with the tiny fraction of active people left.
freedink is the generally accepted way to play dink these days. you should be able to take your save from dinkhd and plop it down where you need it so you can keep going without the bug.
