Hmm.. 
Oh, I would love .PNG support with full transparent range!
I would also love to be able to set different blend modes for sprites like add and multiply.

Is there any way you could allow us to write our own GLSL shaders that can be assigned to specific sprites, or used as post-processing effects on the entire screen?

I have no idea how hard that would be to implement, but it would be cool.
