I think it's stupid that steam games have one use keys. I mean, what if something happens to your account or something you know.
It's just plain stupid.
It's better for them if you lose your password, because it's your fault, than for them to go bankrupt. And you can't blame them for that.
If the keys could be used anytime by anyone you could just use a key, then share it with someone else, so it's certainly anything BUT stupid.
