I've been a vegetarian for a very long time. I eat varied diet of eggs, rice, beans, various vegetables, peas, oatmeal, almond milk, flax oil and various other natural whole foods.

I personally love it. I feel better, look better, save money and get to troll my meat eating friend into oblivion by eating like an college-kid-revolutionary when we go to restaurants. I could actually care less if they eat meat or not, but it's hilarious how frustrated people can get when you pass on the 20oz steak. We ain't Murican enough.

I'm also very physically activate and the "not enough brotein brah" myth is completely false. Eggs actually have higher quality protein amino acid content than any kind of meat (the same goes for cow and soy milk, although I don't drink either). Also, pairing various vegetable proteins can give you high quality protein, as successful vegans know. Furthermore, you don't need complete proteins in every meal due to the fact that you liver stores and releases amino acids when needed. I eat a 3000+ calorie diet and get about 150 grams of complete brotein a day with extreme ease.

The myth that you can't get enough vitamins is also completely false. On a side-note, the vast majority people who tell me about the nutritional fallacies of vegetarianism don't know a thing about nutrition, but I digress. The main areas of concern for vegetarians are vitamin b12 and calcium. However, if you drink almond milk and take a multivitmin, problem solved. All people could benefit from adding a multivitamin into their diet, vegetarian or not. Including abundant vegetables is also much needed for all people who eat food.

Don't let other people get you down, research backs up the assumption that naysayers understand vegetarianism about as well Hellen Keller understands talk radio.

Carry on my wayward son.
There will be peace when you are done.
Lay your weary head to rest.
Dontcha cry no more.
