I do get a message saying the Windows color scheme is changed when I run WinDinkEdit for example, but the sprites and everything show up fine. Having said that, I never use the regular DinkEdit anymore so I don't know if that has problems on Windows 7.
Everyone should run the game windowed in my opinion, it's just much much nicer looking that way But for the die hard 640*480 full screen people, flashing would be annoying. Of course, if it's just your PC, it doesn't really matter as much, since your audience can still enjoy it right?
