My two cents:
Yes, the north and south poles can, have, and will switch places, but no-one has to worry about that for millions of years, it is unlikely it will happen in 2012.
I have a friend whos sixteenth birthday is on Dec. 21st 2012... what a party! He can even invite the four horsemen. (Yes I know mixing things up. It seemed funny two months ago...)
I know all this crap is a load of rubbish, but still, they make for good movies, so just sit back and enjoy.
