If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I would suggest a minimum size of 1024x768, I doubt many people would have smaller screens (If they do it can easily be downscaled without too much loss of quality)
Some people are going for widescreen, but I wouldn't design it solely for those people yet, but having an option to download a widescreen version may be a good idea, though you don't have to.
