The Dink Network

The Cast was formed by an unimportant peasant, who, at an early age, got hit by a stray bonca. The man, who was a child at the time, sustained major, but not fatal injuries to his arm. He was hospitalized for a month with a cast on his arm, and all his friends came in to wish him good health, and to sign his cast. 10 years later, the man wanted to join the King's Knights to prevent what happened to him from happening to another child. His offer, however, was refused. Although he had recovered, his arm would never be in the same state it was in before the attack. He barely had enough strength to feed his pigs, let alone pack a weapon. The fact the King would not let him join the knights enraged him, he had been waiting 10 years for this moment! He decided he would show the King what he could do. He ran home, and opened a sealed chest beneath his bed. He dug through sentimental items, family heirlooms, and other things he held dear until he found it. He pulled out his cast, signed by his friends. He tracked down everyone who had been there for him, and he told them what he wanted to do. He convinced them, and together, they enlisted more, and more, and MORE people, until they had an army. And they called themselves, The Cast.
